Giants’ Hunter Pence gets help from wife Lexi setting up batting cage

Athletes are getting as creative as possible keeping in shape while the sports world goes on hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic.

For Giants outfielder Hunter Pence, he’s making sure he’s getting his hacks in by setting up a batting cage at home. Well, his wife, Lexi, put a majority of the work in:

After getting approval from the landlord, the two set up the netting in their backyard in what appeared to be a rather daunting task, but they made it look easy.

She’s a keeper.

Pence’s teammate Rob Brantly also received some help from his spouse, Milene, with some batting drills with a unique setup of his own.

Meanwhile on the football side, 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk also had some assistance from his wife, Kristin. They went more of a natural route with it using the snow, a sled … and even an entire tree stump.
