LOS ANGELES -- When the Giants acquired Kris Bryant minutes before the trade deadline, one of the main draws was the fact that his versatility would allow Gabe Kapler to mix it up with his lineups and in-game moves. That has been seen in this series so far.
Bryant is starting at first base for Game 3 of the National League Division Series, his first time at the position since joining the Giants. In the three games in this series, he has started in left field, center field and now first. Here's the full lineup for the Giants:

SIGN UP HERE Bryant hasn't been at first for Kapler, but he does have a lot of experience there. He played the position 32 times while with the Chicago Cubs, including 10 starts earlier this season. Bryant has been doing pregame work at first base over the last week in anticipation of the move. While he had some issues at third base defensively, those have been on throws, not fielding grounders.
Kapler had a couple of other wrinkles to his lineup against Max Scherzer. Mike Yastrzemski has moved up to the No. 2 spot in the order and Steven Duggar is making his first start of the postseason in center field.

The notable addition is Albert Pujols, a future Hall-of-Famer who hasn't faced the Giants in the postseason since 2002. Pujols had a .939 OPS against lefties this season.
