Four Giants make MLB Pipeline's final Top 100 prospects list of season

The season is finally over ... at least as far as the Minor League organizations are concerned.

Throughout the season, MLB Pipeline has made its Top 100 Prospects list, with the final one published Tuesday. Sure enough, the Giants' future is looking rather bright, as four guys made the final list.

Catcher Joey Bart (No. 20), outfielder Heliot Ramos (No. 51), shortstop Marco Luciano (No. 62) and outfielder Hunter Bishop (No. 66), make appearances on the list, which include some changes since midseason.

Bart moves down one spot from June's list, with Ramos improving six spots from his previous No. 57 ranking.

Ramos had a successful season with Single-A San Jose where he slashed .306/.385/.500 with 13 home runs and 40 RBI, earning him a promotion to Double-A Richmond in August. That move up the list is justified.

Bart also is not wasting any time making noise in the Arizona Fall League, mashing two home runs in the Scottsdale Scorpion's 5-4 win on Wednesday night. He's making up for the lost time after missing a chunk of the minor league season due to a fractured left wrist.

This list should remain as is for the most part for the rest of the calendar year. Some of the young guys could lose rookie/prospect status if they exceed the big-league at-bat/inning minimum through the remainder of the season. There will be a new list in January.
