Former Giants outfielder Angel Pagan is safe and sound after a frightening scare in Puerto Rico.
Pagan, along with professional baseball player Orlando Roman and a 16-year-old minor, were rescued off the coast of Puerto Rico at 7:09 a.m. Tuesday when a 15-foot wave flipped their boat, multiple Latin websites reported on Tuesday.
Reports say the boat was capsized on Cibuco Beach on Vega Alta, Puerto Rico, which is roughly an hour away from San Juan.

Pagan appears to be unscathed from the incident, but Roman had to receive medical assistance from head trauma, Telemundo PR reported.
Pagan played five seasons with the Giants from 2012 to 2016. The center fielder led the majors in triples with 15 in his first season in San Francisco. He hit .281 as a Giant and was a part of the World Series-winning squad in 2012.
He didn't play in the 2014 postseason due to season-ending back surgery, though he still collected his championship ring.
