Zito releases new kid-inspired baseball song ‘Ball Park Kids'

While some of us know Barry Zito as a three-time MLB All-Star and former AL Cy Young Award pitcher, others know him as a musician.

He has been making music since he retired from baseball in 2015, and he’s incorporating baseball into it with his latest hit “Ballpark Kids,” which he co-wrote:

Part of the video appears to be shot in the Triple-A Nashville Sounds’ clubhouse, once the affiliate of the A's. As a matter of fact, you can see his A’s No. 75 uniform hanging behind him.

Zito was a recent participant (the rhino) on FOX’s “The Masked Singer,” which was part of the next chapter of his life in the music industry. He admitted he was a bit of a newbie, but appreciated the challenge -- even if he had to do it in the midst of welcoming his newest son into the world.
