
League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) is set to resume play on March 21 after a short suspension due to the coronavirus.
After announcing on March 13 that league play would be suspended, LCS commissioner Chris Greely said Tuesday that action will resume with the scheduled Week 8 matches.
"We are pleased to announce the return of the LCS and Academy, starting this week with online matches and continuing for the remainder of the Spring Split."

In order to keep everyone safe and comply with social distancing, matches will take place remotely, something more Esports leagues may adopt moving forward during this time.
