
The A's announced Wednesday its plan to build a waterfront ballpark at Howard Terminal near Jack London Square. The timeline includes construction beginning in 2020 with the stadium opening of spring 2023.
There were mixed reactions. But don't worry -- some of the inquiries have been answered.

A's fans and baseball enthusiasts looked at the photos and complimented the beautiful illustrations. But one of the big questions remained: Where was the batter's eye? The A's social media team tweeted out to the curious and mentioned the visual backdrop was retractable.

In addition, there were comments about how this future ballpark resembled that of a place you would read about in a J. R. R. Tolkien novel. So, the green and gold social media team hooked us up with some answers:
