
The A's will finish a three-game series against the Pirates and finally head home from a nine-game road trip.
Frankie Montas will get starting honors and has been dazzling for the Green and Gold on the mound this season boasting a 2.97 ERA with 30 Ks to his name. This will be his first career start against the Pirates.
Speaking of the Pirates -- Jordan Lyles will get the go-ahead on the mound for the Bucs. He's coming off of an inconsistent outing against the Rangers. He did, however, hold the team to just two runs.

Some unfortunate news came from the A's after it was reported Blake Treinen had some elbow discomfort:
But ... there's a but you guys. Slusser also reported on Sunday that Treinen is feeling better. "Anti-inflammatories seem to have done the trick."
Did I mention this was bad news? We will have more details on Monday. This season, the relievers' ERA ballooned to 3.00 which is out of characteristics. He boasted a 0.78 ERA last season and was part of the reason the team had a bullpen that was acknowledged across the league.
