The 49ers acquired the veteran wide receiver Tuesday via a trade with the Denver Broncos, and he automatically made his presence felt in Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers at Levi's Stadium.
On the 49ers' opening possession, Sanders caught two passes for 8 yards, including a 4-yard touchdown toss from quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo.

The 49ers entered the game 6-0, but they're without wide receiver Marquise Goodwin, who is inactive because of a personal/family matter. Sanders already was expected to see a lot of work in his first game with the 49ers, but with Goodwin out, expect him to see even more targets.
