While the Raiders are making Antonio Brown feel at home after trading for him, the 49ers missed out on acquiring three-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.

According to The Athletic's Jay Glazer, the 49ers not only were interested in acquiring OBJ from the Giants, but they "were in several different times."
"They tried during the season and they tried here in the offseason," Glazer wrote Friday in his latest mailbag. "Someone with the Giants told me they were asking for the second pick of the draft from the 49ers, which the 49ers weren’t willing to do."
We knew San Francisco wouldn’t give away the No. 2 pick -- that's a huge haul. No offense to OBJ. And despite reports of the team wanting OBJ "really, really bad," the 49ers have limits.
