
A 49ers player has tested positive for the coronavirus while working out with teammates in Nashville, league sources tell NFL Media's Mike Garafolo.
All of the players involved in the workout, including 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, now have been tested and are awaiting results, NFL Media's Tom Pelissero added to the report.

The 49ers released a statement saying the team isn't able to comment on a player's personal health.
A contingent of 49ers players had traveled out to Nashville last week for workouts, as the team facility in Santa Clara remains closed to those on the roster.
It's been a tough 48 hours for the entire group, as wide receiver Deebo Samuel suffered a Jones fracture in his foot and had surgery Thursday. The second-year wideout is expected to be out at least 10 weeks.

It also was reported Friday morning that return man Richie James broke his wrist while working out with the group, and could be out up to two months.
Players from several other teams around the league, including Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott, also have tested positive in recent weeks as NFL teams slowly begin allowing personnel back into facilities.
Given where the Bay Area and especially Santa Clara County are in the reopening process, it remains to be seen when players might finally be able to return to team facilities.
