Led by quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, the 49ers have their eyes on the playoffs this season. But can they get it done?
Well like NBC Sports Bay Area's Matt Maiocco said on the NBC Sports 2019 NFL Kickoff Show, Garoppolo still is a bit of an enigma.
"This is a guy that we really don't know what he's all about," Maiocco said. "This will be his sixth NFL season and he's only made 10 starts."

As Maiocco notes, coach Kyle Shanahan and general manager John Lynch fully believe in their franchise QB. If Garoppolo is playing up to his talents, the 49ers should be much improved.

"The team enters the season very optimistic about having the quarterback that can lead them back to the playoffs," Maiocco.
