The NFL says it is “not correct” that the league has prohibited draft-eligible prospects from visiting the facilities of teams.
“We did no such thing,” league spokesman Brian McCarthy responded to NBC Sports Bay Area on Thursday in an email. “That is a club decision,”.
Earlier in the day, agent Erik Burhardt of Select Sports Group wrote on social media that the NFL notified him that visits have been canceled, including those of three of his clients who had multiple visits scheduled.

The sporting world took action on Wednesday and Thursday over concerns of spreading the coronavirus or COVID-19. The NBA has suspended its season, and at least a six NCAA basketball conferences canceled their tournaments on Thursday morning.
Burkhardt said he had been notified that visits for his clients had been canceled.
Texas Tech linebacker Jordyn Brooks had 15 visits scheduled, while Texas defensive back Brandon Jones had eight visits planned, Texas wide receiver Devin Duvernay was planning six visits and seven private workouts, Burkhardt wrote on social media.
