
The 49ers on Saturday traded wide receiver Marquise Goodwin to the Philadelphia Eagles.
San Francisco sent Goodwin and a sixth-round pick (No. 210 overall) to Philadelphia for its sixth-round pick (No. 190), which the 49ers used to draft Georgia tight end Charlie Woerner.

The 49ers likely were going to release Goodwin after the draft. The team selected Arizona State wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk in the first round with the No. 25 overall pick.
Instead of receiving nothing in return, though, the 49ers moved up 20 spots in the sixth round to send Goodwin to the Eagles.

The 49ers also traded running back Matt Breida to the Miami Dolphins earlier Saturday in exchange for a fifth-round pick (No. 153 overall), which they used to select West Virginia offensive lineman Colton McKivitz.
