Somehow, rookie receiver Brandon Aiyuk completely botching a Vince Carter-esque touchdown celebration wasn't the strangest thing to happen to the 49ers in the first quarter played at their temporary new home.
Aiyuk tried, and failed, to pull of a 360, between-the-legs dunk after catching the 49ers' opening TD on Monday night against the Buffalo Bills at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz.

Considering it happened within minutes of the Bills' goal-line stand and Buffalo's ensuing fumble, maybe we shouldn't have been surprised.
The Bills drove 11 plays and 69 yards in the first 5:43 of Monday's game, but it wasn't as nice of a start as those totals would indicate. Quarterback Josh Allen threw an incomplete pass on fourth-and-goal from the 1-yard line, turning the ball over on downs.
The 49ers then drove to the Bills' 1-yard line over the next 7:43, finishing -- you guessed it -- a yard shy of the end zone on their 13-play drive.
A play later, the 49ers got another chance when Bills rookie running back Zach Moss coughed up the football on a handoff from Allen.
Three plays after the fumble, Aiyuk scored.

The receiver has now scored a touchdown in three consecutive games -- and four of his last five. If he keeps finding the end zone at this clip, there just might be time for him to pull the celebration off before the season's it's over.
