The Jazz announced Tuesday that Avery Bradley has been named Vice President of Player Development.
Bradley’s move to Utah reunites him with lead executive Danny Ainge, who selected the former NBA guard with the 19th pick in the 2010 NBA Draft when he was running the Celtics front office. Bradley played 12 seasons, most recently appearing in 62 games (45 starts) as a member of the Lakers during the 2021-22 campaign.

Avery Bradley (right knee effusion) finished Saturday’s 124-116 win over the Warriors with five rebounds and one assist in 16 minutes.
Bradley, who was back in action after missing five games, failed to make either of his field-goal attempts. He’s primarily in the Lakers rotation for defensive reasons, which makes him more valuable to the team than he is to fantasy managers. Even with the Lakers scheduled to play four games next week, there is no reason to even consider adding Bradley to your playoff rosters.

Avery Bradley (right knee effusion) will be active for Saturday’s game against the Warriors.
The Lakers went 1-4 in the last five games they’ve played, but Bradley’s absence was not the only reason they’re losing games. He’ll help the team with some nice defense but that doesn’t translate over well for fantasy purposes.

Avery Bradley (right knee effusion) is listed as probable for Saturday’s game against the Warriors.
Bradley appears to be ready to return after missing five games, but he’s far from a fantasy asset, just like most of his teammates.

Avery Bradley (right knee effusion) has been upgraded to questionable for Thursday’s game against the Clippers.
Bradley’s last action came on February 12, but he’s just a guy the Lakers use for defensive purposes and a few mid-range jumpers. He’s miles from the fantasy radar, as is Austin Reaves despite taking Bradley’s place in the starting lineup lately.

Avery Bradley (right knee effusion) has been ruled out for Tuesday’s game against Dallas.
This will be his fourth straight absence, though it’s unlikely fantasy managers miss him. The Lakers have rolled with Austin Reaves as a starter, though he hasn’t really provided anything from a fantasy perspective. It’s best to look elsewhere on the waiver wire, because that’s where both of these guys belong.

Avery Bradley (right knee effusion) will not play in Sunday’s meeting with the Pelicans.
He’ll miss his third straight contest, and his absence has forced Talen Horton-Tucker into a larger role and he hasn’t looked too bad. THT is nothing short of inconsistent, however, so utilize him at your own risk.

Avery Bradley (right knee effusion) has been ruled out for Friday’s game against the Clippers.
Bradley wasn’t much of a factor as far a fantasy is concerned when healthy, so his absence won’t have an impact in that regard. However, his absence will free up a few more minutes for Talen Horton-Tucker, who has largely struggled this season. Hopefully, this provides THT with a much-needed spark as the Lakers look to lock up a postseason berth.

Avery Bradley (right knee effusion) will not play against the Jazz on Wednesday.
The Lakers will miss his defense, but he won’t be missed by any fantasy managers.

  • NBA Power Forward #7
Carmelo Anthony (hamstring) has been ruled out for Wednesday’s game against the Jazz.
Anthony will miss a fifth straight game, and we won’t be back until after the All-Star break. Also, Avery Bradley (knee) is out and LeBron James (knee) is questionable for Wednesday’s game.
