  • BAL Cornerback #10
Ravens agreed to terms with CB Arthur Maulet on a two-year deal.
Maulet initially joined the Ravens on a one-year deal prior to the 2023 season. He thrived in a nickel role for the Ravens’ top defense, notching two sacks, five tackles for loss and an interception. Maulet now returns on a two-year deal for a Ravens defense that lost much personnel, including defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald. Expect Maulet to return to a nickel role under new defensive coordinator Zach Orr.
  • BAL Safety #29
The Athletic’s Jeff Zrebiec reports Ravens CB Ar’Darius Washington (chest) was placed on injured reserve.
Washington was Baltimore’s starting slot CB for the first two weeks of the season. He joined the Ravens as a 2021 UDFA and earned a big role after the preseason injury to Marlon Humphrey, but now Baltimore’s secondary is even thinner. CB Arthur Maulet is likely next man up. C Sam Mustipher was signed to the 53-man roster in a corresponding move.
  • BAL Defensive Back #35
Ravens signed CB Art Maulet, formerly of the Steelers.
The Ravens have undergone somewhat of a secondary transformation as their once formidable depth chart has aged. Maulet should compete for a depth role primarily as the nickel corner in Baltimore.
  • BAL Cornerback #10
    Steelers released CB Art Maulet.
Maulet, whose played the past two seasons in Pittsburgh, has three interceptions over six NFL seasons. In 2022, he set a career high with 59 tackles for the Steelers, including two tackles for a loss. Maulet will likely sign with another team before training camps start.

  • BAL Cornerback #10
Steelers re-signed CB Art Maulet to a two-year contract.
Maulet will turn 29 this summer and joined the Steelers last season after spending a couple years with the Jets. He played 35% of the Steelers’ defensive snaps as a nickel corner and will again compete for that job this upcoming campaign.

  • FA Defensive Lineman #91
Steelers placed DE Stephon Tuitt (knee) on injured reserve.
Tuitt did not practice at any point in the offseason so this move doesn’t come as much of a surprise. He will miss at least three games, as will running back Anthony McFarland and offensive lineman Zach Banner. They used the three roster spots to sign offensive linemen Rashaad Coward and B.J. Finney and cornerback Arthur Maulet. Tuitt is coming off a career year that saw him hit 11 sacks and 10 TFLs. At 27 years old, Tuitt should still have a few prime years left if he comes off injured reserve unscathed.

  • BAL Cornerback #10
Steelers signed CB Art Maulet to a one-year contract.
Maulet made 11 starts with the Jets the last two seasons. He adds depth to the Steelers’ secondary as a corner/safety backup. The 27-year-old should see most of his snaps on special teams.

  • BAL Cornerback #10
Jets re-signed CB Arthur Maulet to a one-year contract.
Maulet started six games for the Jets’ hapless secondary last year, permitting 30/245 and a mere 9.5 yards per catch across 349 snaps in coverage. It’s a team-friendly bet on the 26-year-old as he wasn’t offered an original-round tender prior to the new league year.
  • BAL Cornerback #10
ESPN’s Rich Cimini reports the Jets won’t tender impending free agent CB Arthur Maulet.
He’ll join Brian Poole and Maurice Canady (pending Trumaine Johnson’s release) among New York’s underwhelming pool of corners to hit the open market. 26-year-old Maulet logged 349 snaps off the bench last year for the Jets, permitting 30/245 and a mere 9.5 yards per catch in coverage as the team’s fifth/sixth-string option. He’s worth a flier as a deep reserve for any secondary-needy teams hunting for as much in free agency.
  • BAL Cornerback #10
Saints signed Memphis CB Art Maulet.
Maulet (5’10/189) spent two years at Memphis after transferring from JUCO, logging 7.5 tackles for loss, four interceptions, and two forced fumbles, and showing impressive blitzing skills for a defensive back with 4.5 sacks. While Maulet flashed playmaking ability in the American Athletic Conference, he was not a dominant producer and tested as a sub-par, 30th-percentile athlete before the draft. Maulet’s best bet to become an NFL player will be on special teams, and perhaps eventually in the slot.
