The Raiders worked out free agent DBs Antwaun Molden, Darius Butler, Cletis Gordon and Kevin Thomas on Tuesday.
The Raiders also kicked the tires on free agent OT Patrick Brown. Oakland is very thin at cornerback after sending Ronald Bartell to injured reserve last week. Molden appeared in all 16 games for the Patriots last season, while Butler made six starts for Carolina.

Free agent CB Antwaun Molden will visit the Giants on Monday and Seahawks on Wednesday.
They will be Molden’s first two visits of free agency. A “league source” (likely Molden’s agent) also tells Scout.com he’s drawing interest from four other teams, including the Bucs. Molden played 306 snaps for New England’s 31st ranked pass defense last season, generally struggling in coverage while making 36 tackles and two interceptions. He won’t be signed as a starter.

Giants signed CB Antwaun Molden, formerly of the Patriots.
The G-Men were the most active team in football on Wednesday, signing Molden and OT Sean Locklear while trading for WLB Keith Rivers and working out Rutgers WR Mohamed Sanu. Molden, 27, recorded nine special teams tackles last season. He’s not a candidate for many snaps in the secondary.

Giants released or waived CB Antwaun Molden, TE Ryan Purvis, DT Carlton Powell, DB Chris Horton, WR Julian Talley, WR Brandon Collins, TE Christian Hopkins, DB Brandon Bing, DB Jojo Nicolas, RB Joe Martinek, T Joel Reinders and DT Oren Wilson.
The Giants are banged up at the corner spot, but Molden just isn’t an option there anymore. The 2008 third-rounder had his athleticism sapped by a string of leg injuries.

    Jaguars re-signed CB Antwaun Molden.
Molden spent three games on the Jags’ roster last season, making one tackle. He’ll fight for one of Jacksonville’s final roster spots in camp.

    Jaguars released CB Antwaun Molden.
The move clears a roster spot for Marcus Trufant. Molden was active for just three games last season, and played zero snaps on defense. The journeyman former third-round pick will look to latch on elsewhere as a camp flier.

The Texans have removed CB Antwaun Molden (ankle) from the active/PUP list.
Molden’s slow recovery from a late-season ankle fracture probably has him behind both rookies Brice McCain and Glover Quin at this point in camp. A third-round pick in 2008, Molden’s ticketed for special teams this season.

Texans coach Gary Kubiak says third-round CB Antwaun Molden is “ahead of where Fred (Bennett) was at this time last year.”
That’s a good sign for Molden coming from Eastern Kentucky. Bennett took over as a starter as a rookie and threatens to supplant Dunta Robinson as Houston’s top corner. Molden has even better athleticism and a clear path to playing time.
