    Lions re-signed G/T Andrew Donnal.
A former fifth-round pick of the Rams in 2015, Donnal didn’t play a single offensive snap for the Lions last year after previously being claimed off waivers. They apparently like him enough to bring Donnal back to compete for a job.

Rams signed No. 119 overall pick OL Andrew Donnal to a four-year contract.
Donnal made All-Big Ten honorable mention in his only year as Iowa’s right tackle, where he was the bookend to Brandon Scherff. He has the versatility to fill a swing role. Donnal should back up at multiple spots.

Rams selected Iowa G/T Andrew Donnal with the No. 119 overall pick in the 2015 draft.
Donnal (6'6/313) only started one year in college, bookending Brandon Scherff as the Hawkeyes’ right tackle. He was an honorable mention All-Big Ten pick. Donnal is a passable athlete with adequate arm length (33 1/2"), but struggled as a run blocker at Iowa and demonstrated limited strength at the Combine, managing 17 reps on the bench. Donnal’s calling card is versatility, as he can play both tackle and guard. He could carve out a career as a “swing” reserve.

Rams RT Andrew Donnal exited Week 11 against the Ravens with a knee injury and will not return.
Donnal got the start with starting RT Rob Havenstein (calf) and backup Darrell Williams (wrist) hurt. LG Garrett Reynolds has moved to right tackle, LG Cody Wichmann shifted to right guard, and Demetrius Rhaney is at right guard.
  • FA Tackle #76
Rams T/G Andrew Donnal suffered a sprained MCL in the Week 11 loss to the Ravens.
Donnal went down in considerable pain and was immediately ruled out, so this is actually viewed as a positive. He’s expected to miss multiple weeks. The fourth-round rookie has made a couple spot starts on the Rams’ injury-riddled line.
