    Eagles released RB Jordan Howard.
The Eagles now have just three running backs on their roster: Miles Sanders, Boston Scott, and Kenny Gainwell. The Eagles also waived/released DB Andrew Adams, OT Le’Raven Clark, DL Hassan Ridgeway, TE Richard Rodgers, DB Kevon Seymour, DB Grayland Arnold, OG Kayode Awosika, WR Travis Fulgham, WR John Hightower, RB Jason Huntley, DB Craig James, DL Matt Leo, OG Iosua Opeta, WR Andre Patton, C Ross Pierschbacher, DB Elijah Riley, S JaCoby Stevens, and DL Raequan Williams.

  • FA Wide Receiver #41
Cardinals signed WR Andre Patton, formerly of the Chargers.
Patton was the third receiver in Los Angeles last season, but he finished with just six receptions across 13 games. Given Arizona’s depth at receiver, Patton faces an uphill battle to make the team and certainly to crack the starting rotation even if Kliff Kingsbury utilizes four-receiver sets more than the 31% clip he used in 2019. Patton’s signing shouldn’t affect Andy Isabella or Hakeem Butler’s dynasty stock.

  • FA Wide Receiver #41
Andre Patton didn’t record a catch in Los Angeles’ Week 17 loss to the Chargers.
Patton saw a hike in snaps during the second half of the year with both Geremy Davis and Travis Benjamin sidelined, but the former still totaled a miserable 6/56 receiving on 17 targets with that gifted opportunity. Patton was previously stashed on the Chargers’ practice squad for the past two seasons but does remain under contract for $585,000 in 2020 if the team chooses to evaluate him further.
  • FA Wide Receiver #41
Andre Patton caught 1-of-2 targets for 8 yards in the Chargers’ Week 13 loss to the Broncos.
Every snap that Patton plays over Austin Ekeler is a tragedy. The Chargers’ No. 3 WR has exactly one reception since Week 4.
  • FA Wide Receiver #41
Chargers signed WR Andre Patton and activated RB Melvin Gordon.
To make room on the roster, the Bolts waived Chris Peace and released Dontae Johnson. Patton will be a depth option with Mike Williams out and Travis Benjamin doubtful for Week 4. Gordon being activated was the last step to him playing Week 4. Multiple beat reporters have suggested Gordon will take on a limited role in his season debut.
