This is a fun hire for the Nuggets as they get a former PG who spent six seasons with the franchise. Miller had an outstanding NBA career with averages of 12.5 points and 6.5 dimes across 17 seasons.

The Jazz could move quickly to get Miller signed to an offer sheet. They’ve already lost out on Corey Maggette.

Coach Jeff Bzdelik is just giving his guys a rest.

The Nuggets would need to beat the Bulls, Mavericks, Nets and then Spurs for it to happen soon. We’re guessing he’ll have really long hair a year from now.

Miller said he’d cut his locks if Denver swept their five-game homestand. They’ve won the first four against Toronto, Chicago, Dallas, and New Jersey to get over .500 in the toughest division in the league. Miller is averaging 12.2 points and 6.2 assists during the winning streak.

A very nice rebound from a poor game against the Spurs last time out. Miller is holding on to the value that we guessed he could have lost when it looked like he might slide over to the two.

With both players returning, interim coach Michael Cooper will have his healthiest roster yet.

Miller sat for the final eight minutes of Monday’s four-point loss to the Clippers. He was also out for 12 straight second-half minutes of the loss to the Lakers. Call it a rookie mistake by Cooper.

Gilbert Arenas will probably do the same. The Jazz would like to sign one of the two and are considered the favorites to land Miller. Although the Clippers can match any offer to Miller, it’s unlikely that they’ll lock themselves into a long-term deal with him.

Arron Afflalo chipped in with 19 points on 6-of-16 shooting (including three treys) to go with four rebounds, one assist, and one steal in the loss. Both are sell-high guys with Wilson Chandler and Danilo Gallinari (ankle) looming in the distance, not to mention Ty Lawson (ankle) and Rudy Fernandez (back).
