  • CHI Power Forward #21
Adama Sanogo amassed 17 points (6-of-10 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), 12 rebounds, one assist, and three steals in 25 minutes in Saturday’s 96-89 win over the Bucks.
Sanogo did not start on Saturday, but that did not prevent him from being an impactful option in the Bulls’ rotation. On a two-way contract for a second consecutive season, he led the Bulls in scoring (tied with Julian Phillips and Javonte Smart), rebounding, and steals (tied with DJ Steward). Andre Drummond’s departure in free agency leaves Nikola Vucevic and the recently signed Jalen Smith as the only Bulls big men on standard contracts, so there may be opportunities for Sanogo to earn minutes despite being on a two-way deal. He isn’t a must-draft player, but keep an eye on Sanogo in Las Vegas.

Chris Haynes of TNT reports that Adama Sanogo will return to the Bulls on a two-way contract.
Sanogo will provide center depth behind Nikola Vucevic and Jalen Smith, but he could see a larger role in Chicago’s rotation if the Bulls decide to move on from Vucevic in the offseason.

Adama Sanogo had the best night of his NBA career on Friday, finishing the 129-127 win over the Wizards with 22 points (8-of-18 FGs, 6-of-9 FTs), 20 rebounds, and one steal in 35 minutes.
Sanogo wasn’t the choice to start with Nikola Vucevic and Andre Drummond sidelined, but that didn’t prevent the rookie from having his best night as an NBA player. The former UConn standout recorded his first 20/20 game, and ten of his 20 boards were of the offensive variety. Depending on who’s available for Sunday’s regular-season finale against the Knicks, Sanogo will be worth a look in active leagues.
  • CHI Center #3
Andre Drummond (left ankle sprain) is out for Thursday’s game against the Pistons.
Injured during Tuesday’s loss to the Knicks, Drummond’s status for Thursday was downgraded from doubtful to out. Torrey Craig and Adama Sanogo can absorb some of the minutes that would have gone to Drummond, but neither is worth streaming.
  • CHI Center #3
Andre Drummond (left ankle sprain) is listed as doubtful to play against Detroit on Thursday.
Drummond exited during the second quarter of Tuesday’s game against the Knicks, and he is expected to remain sidelined against the Pistons on Thursday. Torrey Craig should take on a larger role off the bench, though Adama Sanogo may see a few minutes to provide them with a center option behind Nikola Vucevic. Neither player will be worth streaming.
