  • MIA Wide Receiver #3
In theory, it would be great for the Dolphins to have a third quality receiver on the field. In actuality, it probably won’t matter until Tua Tagovailoa returns. The Dolphins will have 21 days to activate him from the PUP list, meaning Beckham won’t necessarily return this week. He might be worth a stash in the deepest of the deep leagues with the idea that the Dolphins offense will be back on track in Week 8 after Tagovailoa is eligible to return.
  • BUF EDGE #40
He’ll be eligible to return in Week 9 against the Dolphins. Miller had three sacks and five tackles in four games so far this season, rejuvenating himself after a zero-sack 2023. Only a situational pass rusher at this point, Miller will be missed but isn’t exactly a linchpin piece of the Buffalo defense anymore. It’s a slight upgrade for the Texans passing attack this week.
  • TB Wide Receiver #13
An upgrade from the Monday DNP and a good indication that Evans will likely be good to go for Thursday Night Football. The Wednesday practice report will be key as the Buccaneers only conducted a walkthrough today. This is an estimated participation. Still, it’s a good sign for Evans’ availability in Week 5.
  • LV Wide Receiver #17
This has the look of a situation we’ll be monitoring up until the trade deadline as the Raiders get a market together for their No. 1 wideout. Adams missed last week with a hamstring injury and has a 18/209/1 line in three games played this year. With Vegas clearly in a holding pattern as long as their quarterback play is this bad, it makes sense for both sides to move on ahead of the deadline. We haven’t gotten a real sense of which teams are interested yet but there are some extremely obvious fits out there and Adams’ $25.3 million cap figure to dance around. Adam Schefter reports the Raiders are asking teams for a second-round pick and “additional compensation.”
  • ATL Running Back #7
The Falcons star running back has now logged back-to-back limited fake practices as the Falcons only had a walkthrough today. Wednesday’s status looms large, but he’ll likely be able to play on Thursday as long as he doesn’t have a setback. Tyler Allgeier would get a big boost in the rankings if Robinson was unable to play against the Buccaneers on Thursday.
  • NE Quarterback #10
“But what concerns the staff is the group surrounding the quarterback. And that’s a big reason why Brissett remains the team’s starter,” Graff adds. “I’d expect [Maye] to get the go-ahead sometime in November.” The Patriots have lost three in a row and not put up much of an offensive fight in any game to date, but it makes sense that they’re slow-playing putting Maye in given, in particular, how bad the offensive line has played this year.
  • MIA Quarterback #1
In a separate radio interview, Schefter said he thinks Tagovailoa is “going to be back” and “it would be more surprising if Tua didn’t come back.” Tagovailoa is reportedly symptom-free and none of the neurologists he has consulted has encouraged him to retire. On injured reserve, Tagovailoa is required to miss the Dolphins’ next two games, which are Week 5 against the Patriots and Week 7 against the Colts. Concussion experts have said that Tagovailoa will need to sit out an extended time after future concussions going forward. The Dolphins offense desperately needs him back as their backup quarterbacks have sunk the entire offense.
  • LV Wide Receiver #17
A source tells Bonsignore that the club has begun reaching out to other clubs to “gauge interest.” This has been a long time coming after the Derek Carr-Adams partnership was disintegrated by management following the 2022 season. It stands to reason that Adams will be the prize of the trading deadline, and the Raiders should probably cash in the 31-year-old for whatever they can reasonably get. Adams has a $25.3 million cap figure that other teams will have to work around, but we expect him to command a Day 2 pick at the very least.
  • PIT Quarterback #3
Still struggling through a severe calf injury, Wilson could see some practice reps but Justin Fields is fully expected to remain the Steelers’ quarterback. Fields has done an excellent job as Arthur Smith’s game manager, ranking as one of the NFL’s most accurate passers after struggling with accuracy issues in Chicago. Wilson’s only path to playing time would be a Fields injury.
  • DET Tight End #87
The four targets were nice considering quarterback Jared Goff attempted just 18 passes but LaPorta was held out of the end zone on a night the team scored six touchdowns. LaPorta has had a string of difficult schematic matchups considering his acumen against man coverage and relative shortcomings against zone through his first season-plus of play, which carries forward into a Week 6 matchup with the Cowboys after the team heads to their bye week in Week 5.
