Kamara is now locked up through 2026 with the Saints. The 29-year-old has spent his entire career in New Orleans and technically had a year left on the five-year, $75 million contract he signed in 2020, but a high $25 million cap hit meant the Saints were highly motivated to get a deal done to keep Kamara and lower his cap hit for next season. NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo adds that he gets $22 million effectively fully guaranteed. Kamara has been a lone bright spot in a heavily injured offense this season, rushing 111 times for 438 yards and six touchdowns, adding 34 receptions for 252 yards. He will continue to be the constant amidst the Saints’ struggles moving forward.
  • LAR Wide Receiver #10
Kupp began practicing last week out of the Rams’ bye, but was held out of Week 7. He begins this week listed as a full participant for both Monday and Tuesday, indicating that Kupp should be good to go for the Rams’ Thursday game against the Vikings. Despite trade rumors, fantasy managers should expect Kupp to ease back into his slot role for Week 8 and fire him up as a fantasy WR2.
  • LAR Wide Receiver #17
The Rams activated Nacua’s 21-day window to return from injured reserve and he was able to return to practice in a limited fashion on Tuesday. With Cooper Kupp (ankle) practicing fully, the Rams receiving corps is starting to get healthy heading into Week 8. Nacua is just now practicing for the first time since Week 1, so it is unlikely he will play Thursday against the Vikings, but a Week 9 return against the Seahawks is in the cards if Nacua can continue to ramp up practice time.
  • TB Wide Receiver #13
Confirming earlier reporting, Evans has a serious hamstring injury. It’s still possible that he’s placed on injured reserve, but the Buccaneers are playing it cagey with the idea that he could return for Week 12’s game against the Giants. Evans had a 26/335/6 receiving line in seven starts so far this season. He bequeaths Baker Mayfield, who is playing the best ball of his career, to Jalen McMillan, Sterling Shepard, and Cade Otton. “We’re not going to ask them to be Mike and Chris,” Bowles added. Well, duh.
  • TB Wide Receiver #13
The Bucs reportedly aren’t planning to put Evans on injured reserve if there’s a chance he can return for Week 12’s game against the Giants. It sure sounds like Evans will be down for at least a month, including Tampa’s Week 11 bye. Jalen McMillan and Sterling Shepard will get target boosts without Evans and Chris Godwin. Cade Otton is also in line for major work.
  • DAL EDGE #11
Parsons has been sidelined for the past two games with a serious ankle injury. If he suits up against the Niners, Parsons could be used on a rotational basis before he gets a full complement of snaps in Week 9 or beyond. The Cowboys, allowing the NFL’s third highest EPA per play this season, desperately need Parsons back if they have any chance of slowing down the 49ers offense.
  • NO Wide Receiver #12
Olave is still making his way through the league’s concussion protocol following his Week 6 brain injury but Underhill said the receiver has a chance to suit up in Week 8 against the Chargers. With Rashid Shaheed (knee) done for the season, Olave could see a spike in targets in the balanced Saints offense. Olave drafters should check his Thursday and Friday practice status before plugging him into lineups this week.
  • TB Wide Receiver #13
Evans went down with what looked to be a serious hamstring injury in Monday night’s loss to the Ravens. He entered the game nursing a hamstring issue. It’s an injury with which Evans has struggled throughout his career. It wouldn’t be surprising if Evans missed multiple weeks. Jalen McMillan and Sterling Shepard could function as the Bucs’ top two wideouts with Evans and Chris Godwin (ankle) sidelined. Cade Otton would also see a target boost.
  • TB Wide Receiver #14
Godwin suffered a frightening ankle dislocation near the end of the Bucs’ Monday night loss to the Ravens and was carted off the field. His season is over. It’s a giant blow to the pass-heavy Tampa offense, along with Mike Evans’ apparently serious hamstring injury that could keep him sidelined for a while. Jalen McMillan and Sterling Shepard are set to be the team’s top two wideouts for the time being.
  • WAS Quarterback #5
The Commanders, per Rapoport, are going to be “more cautious than anything” in handling the rib injury Daniels sustained in Week 7 against Carolina. Commanders head coach Dan Quinn said Daniels is “week to week,” adding the team hopes he can suit up Sunday against Chicago. Fantasy managers should assume Daniels misses at least one game. Marcus Mariota, who had 205 yards and two scores in Week 7, would get the call against the Bears if Daniels is sidelined.
