  • ATL Wide Receiver #5

London served as rookie quarterback Michael Penix’s top target after departing the team’s Week 16 game with a hamstring injury, an injury that typically forced pass-catchers to miss time considering what is asked of them during a game. He made several spectacular catches for the Falcons, two of which extended the team’s penultimate drive which eventually resulted in them tying the game. They would get the ball back late in the game after a quick three-and-out from the Commanders but a 57-yard field goal came up just short to send the game into overtime. The Falcons enter a Week 18 meeting with the Panthers in need of a win and a Buccaneers loss to the Saints to reach the postseason.
  • ATL Running Back #7
Robinson did the bulk of this damage before halftime, scoring both touchdowns in the first two quarters as the team took a 17-7 lead into the break. The Falcons would then struggle to sustain drives in the second half, something the nuked Robinson’s opportunities in the process. The Falcons ultimately fell in catastrophic fashion in overtime after missing a 57-yard field goal as time expired in regulation, dropping them to the No. 8 seed in the NFC with one game remaining in the regular season. Their path to the postseason now involves a win over the Panthers in Week 18 and a Buccaneers loss to the Saints.
  • ATL Quarterback #9
Penix watched from the sideline as the Commanders controlled the fourth quarter, ultimately kicking a field goal with just over four minutes remaining to take a seven point lead. He then drove the length of the field to tie the game with just over a minute remaining, a drive in which he converted two fourth-and-long situations to tie the game. The Falcons would then force a quick three-and-out and had a chance to steal the victory in regulation following a defensive pass interference call, but the 57-yard attempt fell just short to send the game to overtime. The Commanders won the toss and Jayden Daniels would ensure the Falcons would not see the football again. The loss drops the Falcons into the No. 8 seed in the NFC, now requiring a win over the Panthers in Week 18 and a loss by the Buccaneers to the Saints to reach the postseason.
  • MIA Quarterback #1
McDaniel reportedly affirmed his decision not to play Tagovailoa in Week 17, saying, “from a medical standpoint, it was not an option for him to play” through his hip injury. Wolfe adds, “surgery is not on the table right now” though the “right now” aspect is notable. Hopefully, the injury does not require surgery and Tagovailoa can suit up in Week 18.
  • MIN Quarterback #14
Darnold’s interception came when he tried to fit a ball between two defenders on a flag route from T.J. Hockenson. Outside of that, it was an outstanding effort from Darnold in a game the Vikings essentially dominated from the start. That’s his sixth game with at least three passing scores, and he was spreading the ball around with eight different receivers catching passes. Darnold and the Vikings now have a massive contest against the Lions in Week 18 that will determine who gets homefield advantage in the NFC. Darnold is truly deserving of MVP consideration for his work in 2024 no matter what happens in that game.
  • NYJ Quarterback #8
One more chance to get touchdown No. 500 in a Jets uniform, and one more chance for us all to point and laugh. Rodgers will be a superflex QB2 against the Dolphins in Week 18. It wouldn’t hurt things for Rodgers if the Dolphins found a way to get eliminated from playoff contention before they played that game.
  • NYG Wide Receiver #1
Nabers’ outburst — which included touchdowns of 31 and 59 yards — soared him past 1K on the season and set a new career high for yardage by 44. His 127-yard outing came all the way back in Week 2. Nabers’ season hadn’t been the same since his Week 4 concussion and subsequent never-ending quarterback woes, but his production had been ramping back up before today’s eruption vs. a Colts pass defense that had been playing lights out. Nabers’ 31-yard TD came on a screen catch-and-run. The 59-yarder was another short pass where he showcased elite tackle evasion. Special stuff, and the kind of plays that made him a lottery pick. Also now proven to be a player who will go at less than 100 percent health, Nabers gets one final chance to juice his statistical profile vs. an Eagles defense that could be resting starters in Week 18.
  • JAX Wide Receiver #7
Thomas also carried the ball once for 18 yards. He adds another highly productive game to his impressive rookie season resume, accentuated by a graceful 31-yard sideline catch in the second quarter and an 11-yard score in the third quarter. Thomas is now the fourth rookie wide receiver in NFL history to have at least 1,100 receiving yards and 10 receiving touchdowns in a season. He will remain the Jaguars’ No. 1 receiving option heading into Week 18 and will be a fantasy WR1 against the Colts.
  • JAX Quarterback #10
The Jaguars offense was not pretty, but got the job done against the Titans. Jones had an intentional grounding in the first quarter, but got to humming later, finding Parker Washington in the back of the end zone for a two-yard score in the second quarter. He connected with rookie Brian Thomas Jr. often, finding him for an 11-yard score in the third quarter. The Jaguars did not need anything more against a stumbling Titans team. Jacksonville gets the win, but loses the battle for higher draft pick. Jones should not be in fantasy consideration for Week 18.
  • PHI Running Back #26
Barkley fell victim to a Kenny Pickett tush push touchdown, but the Eagles’ RB1 churned out a strong performance against an overmatched Cowboys defense. Barkley’s longest run of the day came on a 23-yard in the third quarter on a drive that ended with an AJ Brown touchdown, but he will now enter Week 18 just 101 yards shy of the single-season rushing record. With the NFC East now secured, we’ll see just how willing the Eagles are to let Barkley pursue the record in next week’s game against the Giants.
