  • ARI Running Back #6
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
NFL Insider Albert Breer reported that Conner was expected to play despite the questionable tag, with the team’s inactives 90 minutes prior to kickoff confirming his report. Fellow running back Trey Benson is inactive, leaving the likely bulk of work to Conner for as long as his body holds up. Also inactive for the Cardinals are S Jammie Robinson, S Joey Blount, LB Milo Eifler, LB Benton Whitley, TE Travix Vokolek, and WR Xavier Weaver.
  • SF Running Back #31
Guerendo will return from a one-game absence and should immediately reclaim a starting role in one of fantasy’s most valuable backfields. Even with a matchup on deck against a Lions team ceding just 16.9 fantasy points per game to opposing backfields, Guerendo’s expected volume should be enough to serve as a back-end RB2 for championship week.
  • DET Running Back #5
No surprise here after Montgomery is reportedly attempting to rehab his knee and return at some point in the playoffs. The Lions control their own destiny for the top playoff seed and the only bye out of the NFC, but will need to keep stringing together wins with the Vikings nipping at their heels.
  • NE Running Back #38
Stevenson was also targeted once, but did not catch the pass. Head coach Jerod Mayo initially said Stevenson would be benched before the game after his fumbling issues, but instead started in what Mayo called a “coach’s decision.” Ultimately, Stevenson only had two carries in a deeply negative game script, gaining just one yard. He will be outside top-30 RB consideration for Week 18 against the Bills.
  • LAC Wide Receiver #15
With silky smooth route-running, McConkey continued his connection with Justin Herbert in a big way. Once Christian Gonzalez (concussion) exited the game, the Patriots did not seem interested in stopping McConkey and he torched them for eight catches, 94 yards, and a pair of scores. He broke Chargers rookie records for catches and receiving yards and also tied Odell Beckham Jr.’s NFL rookie record for most consecutive games with 50+ receiving yards. Despite the big day, it could have been more with a first drive drop and Herbert missing McConkey for a third touchdown. McConkey is one of the league’s top rookie receivers and is a WR2 for Week 18 against the Raiders.
  • NE Quarterback #10
It was not a great day for the Patriots, who could not get anything going outside of a Drake Maye touchdown pass. He exited the game for a drive while he was evaluated for a concussion in the first quarter, then sat at the end of the game with the score out of reach. Jacoby Brissett completed one-of-two passes for a loss of two yards when he was on the field. Maye took advantage of a free play due to a defensive offsides to toss a 36-yard score to DeMario Douglas in the second quarter. Maye set a Patriots rookie record with his eighth straight game with at least one touchdown pass. He was charged with a fumble on what looked like a miscommunication on a pitch to either Douglas or Rhamondre Stevenson. The rest of the Patriots did not do Maye any favors as he was sacked four times in a 33-point loss. Maye is a back-end QB2 for those still playing fantasy matchups in Week 18.
  • LAC Quarterback #10
Herbert got off to a fast start against a weak Patriots pass rush. He started scoring off by zipping a 23-yard pass to Derius Davis for a touchdown. Ladd McConkey was once again Herbert’s favorite target, as the two connected all day long, including for a pair of touchdowns. Herbert also added three carries for 12 yards as he sat nearly the entire fourth quarter with the Chargers up big. Taylor Heinicke came on in relief, not completing either of his two pass attempts and running once for eight yards. Herbert gave fantasy managers an excellent Week 17 performance as the Chargers locked up a playoff spot. He is a back-end fantasy QB1 for those still in fantasy matchups for Week 18.
  • TEN Running Back #20
Pollard’s absence paves the way for Tyjae Spears to serve as a near every-down back in a winnable matchup against the Jaguars. Spears has had a productive two weeks, scoring 21.6 fantasy points or more in consecutive games, and is now set up well to lead fantasy teams to the promised land without Pollard.
  • IND Quarterback #5
Richardson failed to practice in any capacity this week with reports surfacing Thursday of Joe Flacco had taken all the practice reps with the first team. This was a similar situation to how the team handled things earlier in the season, with Richardson being labeled questionable before downgraded to out on Saturday, seemingly in a nod to gamesmanship. Flacco starts for the fifth time this season after locking onto Josh Downs his first four games, feeding the talented slot receiver nine or more targets in each contest.
  • NE Quarterback #10
Maye headed to the medical tent and locker room after taking a hit to the head on a first drive run. Jacoby Brissett completed a three and out on his sole drive of the game and Maye re-entered in the second quarter for the Patriots’ third drive.
