  • GB Quarterback #10
The Pack are doing all the obfuscation they can with regards to Jordan Love’s MCL injury, but all signs have continued to point toward one more Willis start with Love likely returning in Week 4. Humorously, it will be a “revenge game” for Willis against the team that drafted him, but his presence will continue to render the Packers’ deep receiver corps mostly irrelevant in fantasy football. Only Jayden Reed has any WR4 juice. Josh Jacobs should again see all the carries he can handle.
  • SEA Tackle #74
The loss of Fant is a bad omen considering the inconsistent offensive line play from the Seahawks through two weeks, primarily considering the newfound pass-heavy nature of the offense in the absence of starting running back Kenneth Walker. Fant will miss the next four games, at minimum, after being downgraded from doubtful to out before hitting injured reserve.
  • JAX Running Back #4
Bigsby logged limited practices throughout the week as the Jaguars prepare to face the 2-0 Bills, in desperate need for their first win after falling to the Dolphins and Browns to start the 2024 season. Pederson did not sound overly optimistic about the status of Bigsby, something that could leave fellow running back Travis Etienne with a workhorse role. Final determination will come 90 minutes prior to kickoff when the team announces their inactive list.
  • NO Tight End #7
Hill suffered a chest injury that had the veteran tight end hospitalized after Week 2. He returned to limited practices on Thursday and Friday but appears likely to miss Week 3 against the Eagles.
  • TB Defensive Lineman #50
Vea suffered a sprained MCL in the team’s Week 2 win over the Lions and came into the weekend with a doubtful designation alongside Johnson, both ultimately downgraded to out. The Buccaneers will be without four primary contributors on the defensive side of the ball as they face off against rookie quarterback Bo Nix.
  • SF Tight End #85
Kittle joins Christian McCaffrey and Deebo Samuel as impact players missing for the 49ers in Week 3 against the Rams. Expect Eric Saubert and Jake Tonges to fill the void left behind by Kittle, while the offense primarily runs through Brandon Aiyuk, Jordan Mason, and, to a lesser extent, Jauan Jennings.
  • HOU Running Back #28
The veteran offseason acquisition did not travel with the team to Minnesota for their Week 3 game and has been ruled out. After leaving with the injury in Week 2, Cam Akers and Dare Ogunbowale split the snaps in the backfield 13-to-20, placing concern as to how the backfield usage will shake out with a full week of practice. Based on previous usage tendencies, it appears likely that Akers will serve as the preferred early-down option while Ogunbowale serves as the preferred change of pace and third-down back. Neither is overly exciting for fantasy purposes considering a matchup with a Vikings defense allowing just 3.8 yards per carry and 11.5 points per game.
  • GB Quarterback #10
Last week, the Packers elevated Clifford but downgraded Love in conjunction with the move. This week, however, Love appears to be much closer to a true questionable designation now 15 days removed from a sprained MCL suffered in Week 1 against the Eagles. This appears to be shaping up to be a true game-time decision for the Packers.
  • DAL Running Back #20
The team will carry three running backs and a fullback on the game-day roster for the third consecutive week, with Ezekiel Elliott and Rico Dowdle likely splitting snaps relatively evenly against the Ravens. Cook was signed to the team’s practice squad two weeks prior to the start of the season and have yet to elevate him or give him a spot on the 53-man roster through three weeks of the regular season.
  • CIN Wide Receiver #5
Higgins missed the first two games of the regular season after suffering a hamstring injury in the week leading up to the first game, but will make his season debut against the Commanders on Monday night. The 0-2 Bengals got embarrassed by the Patriots to start the season before going toe-to-toe with the Chiefs in Week 2, ultimately losing by one point on a last second field goal. They now receive a get-right spot against the floundering Commanders and are nearing full strength on offense, the perfect opportunity to grab their first win of the season. There have been no reports regarding an expected snap rate for the contract-year veteran but it is safe to assume he might be held below his normal every-down role in his first game action of the season.
