  • WAS Wide Receiver #17

McLaurin did not haul in his lone reception until the fourth quarter. His two targets tonight were one less than John Bates. This was obviously the worst game of the season for the 29-year-old, but it’s worth pointing out that this is now two-of-three weeks he’s caught fewer than two passes. This Washington passing game certainly has upside with Jayden Daniels, but the floor is pretty scary. No pun intended. McLaurin remains a WR2 against the Cowboys for Week 11, but there’s more risk than anticipated.
  • PHI Running Back #26
Barkley was sensational — particularly in the second half — and his monster fantasy night could have been even bigger if he wasn’t tackled at the one-yard line for the 11th time in 2024. One of his receptions went for 43 yards, and he ran past the Commanders’ defense for a 39-yard score. Barkley crossed the thousand-yard mark in this one, and he’s run for eight touchdowns in his first year with Philadelphia. He should again be the focal point of the Eagles’ offense in Week 12 against the Rams.
  • SEA Wide Receiver #14
It’s back-to-back full practices for Metcalf, and it’s obviously a great sign that he’ll be back in action for Week 11 against the 49ers. It may even be a foregone conclusion this point barring a setback. He should see plenty of targets for Sunday’s divisional tilt, and the player who gets “hurt” the most by his return is likely Tyler Lockett.
  • ATL Quarterback #18
Cousins popping up on Wednesday’s injury report was a bit of a surprise. Despite the surprise addition, he was able to log a limited session to kick off the week and was upgraded to a full participant on Thursday. Assuming he doesn’t suffer any setbacks, Cousins will be good to go in Week 11 against a stout Broncos defense that’s allowing the 10th-fewest passing yards per game this season.
  • DAL Wide Receiver #88
This is great news for Lamb, who battled through a sprained AC joint in the Cowboys’ Week 10 loss to the Eagles. The star receiver should be good to go in Monday night’s game against the Texans, but expectations should be tempered after last week’s messy offensive performance. Lamb still has plenty of upside as a high-volume receiver, but Cooper Rush’s unwillingness to push the ball downfield could result in a lot of short-yardage plays for Lamb. He’s best treated as a solid WR2 in Monday’s game.
  • NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero was the first on the scene, reporting that Butker is expected to miss 3-4 weeks due to a meniscus injury in his left knee — which is his non-kicking knee. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport later reported that Butker is expected to have surgery to trim his meniscus, which is why the team went ahead and placed him on injured reserve. In a corresponding move, the Chiefs have already signed kicker Spencer Shrader off the Jets practice squad. Shrader is a rookie who went undrafted out of Notre Dame earlier this year. During his five years of college, he converted on 43-of-62 field goals while making 98.7 percent of his extra point attempts. He’ll now be tasked with replacing one of the most reliable kickers in the league.
  • PIT Running Back #30
Not great, folks. It’s bad enough to be added to the injury report on a Thursday, but it’s even worse to be listed as a DNP. Warren can put some concerns to rest regarding his Week 11 availability if he’s able to practice in some capacity on Friday, but this is something worth monitoring over the next 24 hours as we prepare to head into the weekend. If Warren can’t go, Cordarrelle Patterson would see an uptick in touches while Najee Harris remains cemented in his high-volume role against the Ravens.
  • BUF Linebacker #58
Thursday marked Milano’s second practice since he suffered a torn biceps during training camp. A staple of the Bills’ defense, Milano was expected to return at some point in the season, but when he would return was always up in the air. With the Bills officially opening his 21-day return window, they now have three weeks to activate him from injured reserve, which means the latest we could see him would be Week 14 against the Rams. Milano has been listed as a limited participant in both practices this week.
  • PIT Running Back #22
Harris was sidelined on Wednesday by his ankle injury but returned to the field on Thursday. It’s a good sign for his Week 11 availability against a stout Ravens run defense, and Harris still has Friday’s practice to go. True to form, Harris averaged 2.5 YPC on 21 carries in last week’s win over the Commanders. He shouldn’t be counted on as anything more than a boom-or-bust RB2 if he’s active against the Ravens this week.
  • MIA Wide Receiver #10
Given what we know about Hill’s injury and his decision to play through it, there’s a good chance Wednesday’s DNP was more of a rest day than anything that would signal him missing Week 11’s game against the Raiders. When asked about the possibility of surgery on his wrist, Hill said that was something that’s been discussed but that he wants to play through the injury. If he does have surgery, Hill hopes he can put it off until the end of the season. Unless the team suggests otherwise, we’d expect Hill to be on the field this week, where he’ll profile as a solid WR1.
