  • MIA Tight End #9
It was a career year for Smith, who caught 88 passes for 884 yards and eight touchdowns – all career-highs – in his first season with the Dolphins. The explosive tight end bucked the trend of low-producing tight ends in Mike McDaniel’s offense and instead finished with the second-most targets (109) on the team while also ranking second in receiving yards. Smith joined the Dolphins on a two-year contract this offseason, and immediately looks like one of the best values at the position heading into 2025. We’ll see if he earns an extension after this season, but Smith, who turns 30 next summer, will have plenty of buzz as a TE1 next fantasy season.
  • MIA Running Back #28
A fully healthy Achane gave fantasy managers everything they hoped for this offseason. The second-year speedster rushed for 907 yards and six touchdowns while operating as the Dolphins’ lead back and added another 78 receptions for 592 yards and six scores. Any concerns about Achane’s ability to handle a full assortment of touches were laid to rest this season, as he averaged 16.5 touches per game this season while amassing over 1,400 yards from scrimmage and 12 touchdowns. Achane’s volume and big-play ability will put him in the conversation as a high-end RB1 next fantasy season.
  • MIA Wide Receiver #10
Hill initially began his response diplomatically, saying, “I have to do what’s best for me and my family — if that’s here or wherever the case may be. I’m about to open up that door for myself.” His statements became more declarative as the questions continued, though. When pressed at the end of the exchange about whether he was actually thinking about leaving, Hill stammered before finally saying, “yeah, if... yes,” while walking off. Hill’s season ends with a line of 81-959-6, but he finishes with career lows in YAC/REC (3.5) and YPRR (1.75). A lousy quarterback situation certainly slowed him for a chunk of the season, but it’s fair to wonder if we’re seeing signs of Hill’s aged catching up to him. The Dolphins have time to iron things out this offseason but it appears as though Hill, who turns 31 in March, may be ready to play elsewhere next season.
  • NYJ Quarterback #8
Rodgers threw his 500th career touchdown in Sunday’s win over the Dolphins, as he now heads into yet another offseason with his future in question. The 41-year-old signal-caller took another noticeable step back in 2024, looking more and more like a player who was on the verge of being caught by Father Time. In the right situation, Rodgers may still have something to offer a team as its starting quarterback, although, it seems unlikely that team will be the Jets. While he’s still under contract with the team next season, Rodgers hasn’t exactly shied away from the fact that this season will probably be his last in the Big Apple. While it’s possible the Jets opt to retain him as a bridge to whatever quarterback they bring in next season, things have been so tumultuous during Rodgers’ tenure that a split is probably best for both sides. Rodgers said he will think about his playing future early in the offseason, with plans to decide before NFL free agency kicks off in March. Now, we wait.
  • SF Running Back #31
Barrows adds that Guerendo will undergo more testing on Monday. Guerendo was dragged down by a defender on his left side, causing Guerendo’s left knee to buckle inward. Tomorrow’s tests should provide clarity as to the full diagnosis, as well as Guerendo’s expected recovery timeline.
  • LAR Running Back #22
Corum’s rookie season has come to an end. The talented young player rushed 58 times for 207 yards, caught 7-of-8 targets for 58 yards and returned six kickoffs for 164 yards. He displayed his tackle-breaking prowess in all three phases, totaling 11 missed tackles forced as a rusher, one as a receiver and four as a returner. Corum’s promising rookie showing could earn him a larger role in 2025 but Kyren Williams did nothing to lose the starting gig and remained healthy all season. Corum is firmly entrenched in the No. 2 spot for now, although his upside is undeniable.
  • SEA Quarterback #7
It was Smith’s first NFL game with four touchdown passes. Geno was cooking in this one, especially in the second half. He connected with Noah Fant, Jake Bobo, DK Metcalf, and AJ Barner for scores against a Rams defense resting most of its starters. Geno, 34, will end the season with 4,320 passing yards and 21 touchdowns, with a low 3.3 percent touchdown rate in what was a high-volume pass offense for most of the regular season. Though Smith is signed through the 2025 season, it would be a surprise if he doesn’t seem serious competition of the Seattle starting gig this offseason. That won’t come from Sam Howell, who proved this season that he is among the worst quarterbacks in organized football. The Seahawks have seemed to peak in the Geno era, leaving the franchise likely looking elsewhere for a QB who offers championship upside.
  • LAR Running Back #22
He’s listed as questionable to return but has next to no chance to see another snap in a meaningless game for LA. Entering the game as the Rams’ top back with Kyren Williams inactive alongside other LA starters, Corum had two carries for ten yards before leaving the game. Ronnie Rivers is in line to be the Rams’ lead back for the rest of the game.
  • SF Wide Receiver #15
Jennings entered the game 77 yards short of 1,000 on the year. Inconceivably, he committed personal fouls on back-to-back plays in the second quarter and was ejected 25 yards shy of 1K. Not smart, especially with the Niners making a concerted effort to get Jennings there. He had seven more looks than any other player. 27-year-old former seventh-rounder Jennings — who spent his 2020 rookie year on the Niners’ practice squad — was surprisingly signed to a two-year, $15.39 million extension in May. He immediately showed why, breaking out in Brandon Aiyuk’s absence even after the 49ers used a first-round pick on Ricky Pearsall. All of Jennings’ 77/975/6 were more than double his previous career highs, save for the touchdowns. After two mid-season hot streaks, Jennings did look like more of a role player down the stretch, but he’s proven beyond a doubt he can be one of the league’s best No. 3 wideouts, and a No. 2 in a pinch. With the 49ers’ receiver room uncertain amidst Aiyuk’s knee woes and Deebo Samuel’s decline, Jennings could remain a top-36 option in 2025.

The game was the fifth Big Ten Conference contest Penn State has held at “The Cathedral of College Basketball” and the Nittany Lions lost for the second time.

Nick Kern Jr. hit two free throws in the final minute to tie the game at 29-29 going into intermission, but the Hoosiers got two 3-pointers and a layup from Mackenzie Mgbako to open the second half and Myles Rice and Ballo each converted layups to push the lead to 41-29 three minutes in.
