  • NYG Wide Receiver #1
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
Nabers has gone “football warrior” mode the past few weeks, playing through injury even as the team around him packs it in. He doesn’t seem particularly close to 100 percent health, but he’s not suiting up for limited action. Although his quarterback and matchup are concerns, Nabers should see enough volume to remain in the top 24. Inactive for the Giants are LB Micah McFadden, C John Michael Schmitz, CB Greg Stroman, CB Dee Williams, DL Cory Durden and QB Tim Boyle.
  • NYJ Wide Receiver #17
He’ll profile as a low-end WR1 in your fantasy finals. Most of New York’s big line of questionable players are in for the game, including Sauce Gardner (hamstring), Quinnen Williams (hamstring), Haason Reddick (neck), and Morgan Moses (knee). Inactive for the Jets are: CB Jarrick Bernard-Converse, EDGE Braiden McGregor, K Anders Carlson, S Jaylin Simpson, CB Kendall Sheffield, and CB Qwan’tez Stiggers.
  • CIN Running Back #30
Brown sprained his ankle while sliding to the ground at the one-yard line late in the Bengals’ Week 17 win over the Broncos. He was going down to set up a game-winning field goal, only for the Bengals to punch it in with Joe Burrow on the next play. Brown remained on the field for a while before being helped off by trainers. What looked to be a potentially catastrophic injury at the time now seems much less serious. Khalil Herbert would draw the start with Brown sidelined. With the Bengals still in the playoff hunt, expect Brown to do everything he can to get back out there for Week 18 versus the Steelers.
  • MIA Wide Receiver #17
Waddle got in two limited practices this week before being listed as questionable. The team will likely put him through a pre-game warmup before making a final decision on his status, but fantasy managers need to have a backup plan in place. If Waddle is ruled out, rookie Malik Washington will stay in the No. 2 role for Week 17. Washington caught three passes for 28 yards last week, keeping him deep in the WR5/6 range versus Cleveland.
  • MIA Wide Receiver #10
Hill has been playing through the wrist issue all year, even as it has worsened over the back half of the season. It looks like Week 17 will be no different. His numbers have stagnated in the latest iteration of the Miami offense. Hill has topped 100 yards once in his past seven appearances, although five touchdowns during that stretch have cushioned the blow for fantasy managers. With Tua Tagovailoa expected to miss Week 17, Hill is barely in the WR2 ranks versus Cleveland.
  • NYJ Wide Receiver #17
As Schefter notes, there is no way Adams is going to miss a chance to catch Aaron Rodgers’ 500th career touchdown pass. He has already come down with No. 200 and No. 400. Adams was held out of practice on Thursday but returned for a limited session on Friday before being listed as questionable. One practice is typically enough to keep a veteran in the lineup, and that appears to be the case this week. Adams is a low-end WR1 for his Week 17 date with the Bills.
  • CIN Wide Receiver #1
Chase drew shadow coverage from arguably the top coverage corner in the league in Pat Surtain, which confined most of his work to the short-to-intermediate areas of the field to leverage Chase’s elite separation skills in close. That is, until Chase got behind the defense for a 38-yard reception on the team’s third possession of overtime, eventually leading to Tee Higgins’ third touchdown grab of the evening in walk off fashion. The win keeps the Bengals alive in the AFC playoff picture, now needing to beat the Steelers in Week 18 and to have the Chiefs beat the Broncos.
  • CIN Wide Receiver #5
Higgins caught all three of quarterback Joe Burrow’s touchdown passes, the most important of which came on the team’s third overtime possession following a missed field goal by backup kicker Cade York. The walk off touchdown kept the Bengals in contention for the No. 7 seed in the AFC, with the team now needing to beat the Steelers in Week 18 and have the Chiefs handle the Broncos while likely resting their starters in a meaningless game. Higgins continues his bid for a contract extension while playing on the franchise tag yet again in 2024.
  • CIN Running Back #30
Brown escaped for his longest rush of the game late in the fourth quarter in a tie game but attempted to slide down at the one to draw more time off the clock. His right cleat appeared to get stuck in the turf as he attempted the slide and he would stay down on the field with training staff for minutes before eventually walking under his own power to the sideline. He would not play another snap as the team saw three possessions in overtime, with Khalil Herbert handling the rest of the snaps in his stead. Fantasy managers considering playoff contests or sick enough to play in Week 18 championships will want to monitor his practice status in the coming week ahead of a meeting with the Steelers.
  • CIN Quarterback #9
This one was a battle, and Burrow led the victorious side through numerous setbacks. Burrow took seven sacks from the team leading the league in total sacks this season, Ja’Marr Chase saw shadow coverage from arguably the top coverage corner in the league in Pat Surtain, and the team missed a field goal in overtime as it appeared their season was slipping through their fingertips. Burrow fought through it all while accounting for four touchdowns, all three passing scores of which were caught by Tee Higgins. The Bengals kept their season mathematically alive but will need to beat the Steelers in Week 18 while getting some help from the Chiefs over the Broncos to sneak into the No. 7 seed out of the AFC.
