  • LV Quarterback #15
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
We’re beginning to think we’ll never get to see Desmond Ridder waste the Raiders time. Minshew went for 282, two touchdowns, and one pick on Sunday against a Dolphins team that seemed pathologically unable to guard Brock Bowers. The Broncos will be a tougher test, one that likely will make Minshew a bottom-tier QB2 at best in most Week 12 rankings.
  • TEN Running Back #2
Spears played just 26 snaps against the Vikings in Week 11 and was mostly a spectator, with three carries and three targets to Tony Pollard’s nine and four. If you have a bye week crunch, Spears can probably head to the waiver wire ahead of Week 12. Even if he did play, it’s unlikely he’d do all that much against the Texans. It’s good news for Tony Pollard’s volume in a year that has been full of good news for Tony Pollard’s volume.
  • JAX Wide Receiver #0
Davis ends his first year in Jacksonville with nine starts, 20 catches, and 239 yards with two scores. He played at least 69 percent of the snaps in every game he finished and never had more than five catches in any game, settling for a one-catch game on four separate occasions. For the privilege, Davis got a $10 million signing bonus. One of Trent Baalke’s greatest follies yet — and that’s saying something — Davis will almost undoubtedly be brought back on a $6.7 million cap figure next year since cutting him would cost the Jaguars $13.6 million in cap space. In his absence, look for Tim Jones and Devin Duvernay to get more run. No Jaguars are truly fantasy viable while Mac Jones is leading the charge.
  • CLE Running Back #24
Chubb has played just 35 and 30 percent of the snaps the last two weeks against the Chargers and Saints. It’s likely that the Chargers fade was game-script influenced after the Chargers took an early 20-3 lead. But Chubb is by no means a must-start on TNF against the Steelers, even with this proclamation saying he might play more in Week 12.
  • NYG Head Coach
This belief supposedly led to Daboll naming Tommy DeVito the starter over Drew Lock. A two-year vet of Daboll’s offensive system, it would seem Daboll is hoping DeVito’s familiarity with the system can lead to a strong run down the stretch and his return in 2025 for what will undoubtedly be an offseason full of changes. Daboll started off strong out of the gate, going 9-7-1 in his first season at the helm. He managed just six wins last season and is currenlty sitting on two wins through the first 11 weeks of this year. He’ll look to turn things around starting in Week 12 against the Buccaneers, but Daboll may not be long for the Giants if he can’t string together a few wins and end the year on a high note during the final months of the season.
  • DAL Wide Receiver #88
Lamb popped up on Saturday’s injury report with a back injury and was officially listed as questionable. Head coach Mike McCarthy said Lamb’s injury was “not of high concern,” setting the expectation for his WR1 to play on Monday night barring any setbacks. Slater’s latest report all but confirms that Lamb should be good to go for Monday’s in-state matchup, but he’ll be hard to trust as anything more than a WR2 after the debacle we witnessed in Week 10 with Cooper Rush under center.
  • CAR Running Back #24
It’s been a long time coming for Brooks, who was the first running back selected in the 2024 NFL Draft. The Panthers activated Brooks from the reserve/NFI list on November 6th but opted not to play him in Week 10. He had an extra week to recover during the team’s Week 11 bye, but is now expected to be active for Week 12’s game against the Chiefs. Brooks will eat into Chuba Hubbard’s workload going forward, but it’s hard to know how much of a dent he’ll make early on. Hubbard is fresh off signing a four-year contract extension with the Panthers, an indication that they still plan to utilize him at a high rate in the coming years. Fantasy managers who have stashed Brooks all season will soon be rewarded for their patience, but he’s best left on fantasy benches until we get a better sense on how the team plans to use him.
  • NYG Quarterback #15
It was reported earlier that the move to DeVito was coming, but Daboll confirmed it during Monday’s press conference. The move to DeVito all but ends Jones’ time with the Giants, as the team now looks get through the season before heading into an offseason that’s expected to be full of changes. DeVito threw for 1,101 yards, eight touchdowns, and three interceptions last season, but took a whopping 37 sacks in his nine games played. DeVito is unlikely to be a noticeable upgrade over Jones, but the bar has been set so low, that it’s hard to imagine him being much worse.
  • ATL Wide Receiver #1
Mooney exited in the third quarter of Sunday’s loss to the Broncos and did not return to the field. The veteran receiver has turned in a solid season for the Falcons thus far, catching 48 passes for 711 yards and five touchdowns while averaging 14.8 YPR. The Falcons now enter their Week 12 bye, so it’s possible he’ll have enough time to recover in time for Week 13’s game against Chargers. We’ll likely have more information on his availability closer to next week.
  • TB Wide Receiver #13
Monday was a bonus practice for the Buccaneers, who are coming off their Week 11 bye. Per ESPN’s Jenna Laine, Evans told her that he “could have tried to push it for Week 10 against the 49ers” but also added that Week 12 has always been his target return date. The Buccaneers will release their first official injury report on Wednesday, but it sounds like Evans is trending toward a return for Week 12’s game against the Giants.
