  • BAL Kicker #9
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
Tucker for the first time in his 13-year NFL career is struggling mightily to put the ball between the uprights. He’s missed six of his 22 field goal tries in 2024, including two in Baltimore’s Week 11 loss to the Steelers. “You have to find that competition first if you’re going to be blunt about it. Where is that competition? That would be one thing,” Harbaugh said when asked if the team would consider benching Tucker. “The best option right now is to get Justin back on point, because he’s fully capable of doing it. (We) certainly haven’t lost any confidence in Justin Tucker.” Tuckers’ struggles from distance stretch back to 2023. Over the past two seasons, he’s made just four of 12 field goals of more than 50 yards. Continued struggles for Tucker could force Harbaugh to give some thought to a kicker change as the Ravens head toward the playoffs.
  • DAL Tight End #87
Desperate PPR-scam desirers at tight end can start with Luke Schoonmaker, who caught 6-of-10 targets for 56 yards on Monday night. Dallas’ offensive ceiling is probably 20 points right now, but Schoonmaker has made the most of his opportunities when Ferguson has missed time this year, with 12 catches in two games against the Saints and Texans.
  • DAL Quarterback #10
But there will also be a package of plays for Trey Lance. Ultimately this may make neither player superflex viable if they are splitting into each other’s time. Only truly desperate times would call for starting either player against a Commanders defense that is on the upswing in Week 12.
  • CLE Tight End #85
We’ve heard almost nothing from beat reporters or Browns media about Njoku missing this game, so we’ll stick with believing he’s just being managed for the moment. Njoku caught 9-of-10 targets for 81 yards last week against the Saints and played a season-high 86 percent of the snaps.
  • NYJ Quarterback #8
“It’s hard to imagine him even wanting to come back,” Cimini adds. SNY’s Connor Hughes concurred, saying “it’s very clear now that this organization is going to find a new quarterback.” The Jets beat has come out strong with the belief that this is the end of the line for Rodgers in New York following the firing of Joe Douglas. There’s enough inertia here that we wouldn’t entirely rule out a Rodgers return — who is the owner? who is the general manager? who is the head coach? — but if those questions aren’t answered in a manner that is favorable to Aaron Rodgers, it seems likely that Rodgers would want to leave. The question would then become: Who would want a 41-year-old quarterback who won’t throw deep and doesn’t want to be challenged?
  • FA General Manager
Phil Savage, a former general manager for the Browns and a member of New York’s front office, will serve as the Jets’ interim GM. Douglas is out after five and a half seasons as New York’s general manager. It hardly comes as a shock after the front office’s gamble on 40-year-old Aaron Rodgers turned out disastrously on every front. The Jets are 3-8 in another lost season without any clear path forward outside a total teardown and years-long rebuild. Douglas bet on Rodgers and lost badly. The Jets were 30-64 with Douglas as GM. The Athletic’s Dianna Russini reports the team’s GM search would begin immediately.
  • PIT Quarterback #2
Fields in Week 11 had two rushes for 17 yards after weeks of Steelers coaches talking up a Fields rushing package. Smith said Fields would have had more usage against Baltimore if the Steelers had not stalled out on several first half drives. He stressed that the team does not see Fields as a gadget player. “We have two starting quarterbacks,” Smith said Tuesday. “It’s a very unique situation.” More usage for Fields — especially in the red zone — could make Russell Wilson unviable in one-quarterback fantasy formats.
  • DAL Quarterback #19
McCarthy told reporters after the game that he should have allowed Lance to run the offense near the end of the blowout loss. “I could’ve gotten him a series. That’s one thing that I would second-guess myself on,” McCarthy said. “I didn’t want to get into putting him in for a play or two, because he’s more than a gadget player in my opinion. We had him prepared to take a series, and frankly there at the end I should’ve gave him that series, and I regret not doing that.” With the Dallas offense going nowhere under backup QB Cooper Rush, Lance could see opportunities down the stretch. The dual-threat Lance should be rostered in superflex formats just in case.
  • DAL Wide Receiver #88
Head coach Mike McCarthy did everything he could to get Lamb involved early and often but an early injury to tight end Jake Ferguson meant the Texans could continuously roll additional coverage to Lamb. Furthermore, quarterback Cooper Rush made several off-target throws directed at Lamb, which Lamb released on the sideline with a passionate display of frustration. It’s hard not to point to the offseason contract sagas between Lamb and Prescott as at least contributing factors to a lost season. Lamb could see a quarterback change in Week 12 if the team wants an extended look at Trey Lance ahead of their game against the Commanders.
  • HOU Wide Receiver #3
Dell matched Nico Collins in targets, receptions, and yardage, but it was clear on the field who the alpha pass-catcher is in this offense now that Collins is healthy again. Collins had a 77-yard touchdown called back for an ineligible man downfield on the first play from scrimmage and also had another catch overturned after a successful challenge, with Dell seeing most of his usage as the second read in the offense. Dell will always see a few designed touches to leverage his upside with the ball in his hands, but the volume behind those schemed looks is largely lacking with Collins back in the fold. Dell could struggle to return consistent WR3 numbers the rest of the way.
