  • GB Running Back #8

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero called the injury “nagging more than anything else.” While it’s clear Jacobs isn’t fully healthy, he’s close enough that the Packers have felt comfortable putting 71 touches on his place over the past three weeks. Jacobs has topped 100 yards from scrimmage in five consecutive games and is showing no signs of slowing anytime soon. He remains in the RB1 ranks for Week 14.
  • GB Wide Receiver #87
Doubs missed Week 13 with the brain injury. He was limited in practice this week, but an early game on Thursday made it impossible for him to clear the league’s concussion protocol in time. He should be back for a Week 15 tilt with the Seahawks. His absence will leave Jayden Reed as the team’s top receiver, though Christian Watson and Dontayvion Wicks will both be in the mix for targets. Reed will sit on the WR2/3 border while the deep threats are high-risk FLEX plays for Week 14.
  • JAX Quarterback #16
Lawrence will spend a minimum of four games on injured reserve. He will technically be able to return for a meaningless Week 18 game, but the odds of that happening are close to zero. Lawrence was also dealing with an injury to the AC joint in his left shoulder. He missed two games with the issue before returning last week, only to suffer a brutal concussion on a dirty hit from Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair. It’s possible Lawrence will undergo shoulder surgery while on injured reserve, which would mark an official end to his disappointing 2024 season. Mac Jones will close out the year as the Jags’ starter. Jones threw for 235 yards and two scores in relief of Lawrence last week but was much worse in his two starts. He barely registers as a QB2 for Superflex leagues.
  • BUF Tight End #86
Kincaid has been out for two weeks while nursing the knee issue. The second-year tight end was unable to practice in any capacity last week, so a limited session on Wednesday is a major step in the right direction. Dawson Knox has been serviceable in his pair of starts with six catches for 96 yards. He could hold onto a part-time role once Kincaid returns, making it a potentially frustrating situation for fantasy managers.
  • LAC Wide Receiver #15
McConkey will presumably be extremely limited for the first practice of the week, but it’s a great sign for his Week 14 availability nonetheless. The rookie has been playing through a shoulder issue for a few weeks and then tweaked his right knee on Sunday versus the Falcons and was listed as questionable to return late in the game. Harbaugh was non-commital when talking about his status on Monday. Before going down, McConkey was on pace for an eruption game with 117 yards and nine grabs on a dozen targets. He will remain the focal point of the Chargers’ passing attack if healthy for Week 14.
  • BAL Wide Receiver #18
The Ravens are on bye this week, meaning Johnson will miss their Week 15 game against the Giants. Johnson didn’t play a snap in Week 13 despite being active and Rashod Bateman going down mid-game with a knee injury. According to a press release from the team, the suspension stems from him refusing to enter the game on Sunday. Johnson has run 19 routes for Baltimore since being traded and has one reception as a Raven. It wouldn’t be surprising to see them release the veteran receiver before the end of the year. For fantasy purposes, it goes without saying that Johnson shouldn’t be rostered in even the deepest of redraft leagues.
  • NYJ Running Back #20
Interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich said it was too early to determine if Hall would suit up on Sunday. Hall missed last Wednesday’s session as well but managed to suit up on Sunday after a pair of limited practices. He told reporters on Friday that he was “not sore or anything”, though it didn’t look that way on the field. Hall was off the field more than usual and did not catch a pass for the first time this year. He only carries the ball 12 times in a loss to Seattle. With the Jets all but mathematically eliminated from the playoff hunt, it would make sense for the team to start taking it easy with their superstar players, including Hall. Braelon Allen would see the bulk of the work if he misses any time, though third-stringer Isaiah Davis would also earn some touches.
  • NYG Quarterback #2
Tommy DeVito will remain sidelined with a forearm injury he suffered two weeks ago. Lock on Thanksgiving Day against the Cowboys passed for 178 yards and an interception while rushing for 57 yards and a touchdown in a seven-point loss. Lock was 15th out of 32 qualifying QBs in completion rate over expected in Week 13, averaging a meager 6.4 air yards per attempt. Look for Lock to again target Malik Nabers heavily with the Giants underdogs against the visiting Saints. Nabers saw 13 targets last week against Dallas.
  • JAX Quarterback #16
Lawrence is in the NFL’s concussion protocol after sustaining a brain injury in Week 13 against the Texans on a dirty, late hit. There’s next to no chance Lawrence suits up this week against the Titans, leaving Mac Jones to get another start for Jacksonville. Jones has completed 62 percent of his passes for two touchdowns and three interceptions in 2024.
  • GB Running Back #8
Jacobs was limited during Tuesday’s practice. The injury, per Rapoport, is “nagging more than anything else” and should not sideline him for Thursday’s crucial matchup against the Lions. “As of right now, it’s not something to get worked up about,” Rapoport said. Jacobs, who has a whopping 71 touches over his past three games, will be a volume-based RB1 against Detroit, one of the toughest run defenses in the NFL.
