  • KC Kicker #7
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero was the first on the scene, reporting that Butker is expected to miss 3-4 weeks due to a meniscus injury in his left knee — which is his non-kicking knee. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport later reported that Butker is expected to have surgery to trim his meniscus, which is why the team went ahead and placed him on injured reserve. In a corresponding move, the Chiefs have already signed kicker Spencer Shrader off the Jets practice squad. Shrader is a rookie who went undrafted out of Notre Dame earlier this year. During his five years of college, he converted on 43-of-62 field goals while making 98.7 percent of his extra point attempts. He’ll now be tasked with replacing one of the most reliable kickers in the league.
  • PIT Running Back #30
Not great, folks. It’s bad enough to be added to the injury report on a Thursday, but it’s even worse to be listed as a DNP. Warren can put some concerns to rest regarding his Week 11 availability if he’s able to practice in some capacity on Friday, but this is something worth monitoring over the next 24 hours as we prepare to head into the weekend. If Warren can’t go, Cordarrelle Patterson would see an uptick in touches while Najee Harris remains cemented in his high-volume role against the Ravens.
  • BUF Linebacker #58
Thursday marked Milano’s second practice since he suffered a torn biceps during training camp. A staple of the Bills’ defense, Milano was expected to return at some point in the season, but when he would return was always up in the air. With the Bills officially opening his 21-day return window, they now have three weeks to activate him from injured reserve, which means the latest we could see him would be Week 14 against the Rams. Milano has been listed as a limited participant in both practices this week.
  • PIT Running Back #22
Harris was sidelined on Wednesday by his ankle injury but returned to the field on Thursday. It’s a good sign for his Week 11 availability against a stout Ravens run defense, and Harris still has Friday’s practice to go. True to form, Harris averaged 2.5 YPC on 21 carries in last week’s win over the Commanders. He shouldn’t be counted on as anything more than a boom-or-bust RB2 if he’s active against the Ravens this week.
  • MIA Wide Receiver #10
Given what we know about Hill’s injury and his decision to play through it, there’s a good chance Wednesday’s DNP was more of a rest day than anything that would signal him missing Week 11’s game against the Raiders. When asked about the possibility of surgery on his wrist, Hill said that was something that’s been discussed but that he wants to play through the injury. Unless the team suggests otherwise, we’d expect Hill to be on the field this week, where he’ll profile as a solid WR1.
  • CIN Wide Receiver #5
Higgins has been limited through two practices this week. He’s far from a lock to suit up in Week 11 against the Chargers, but Higgins is trending in the right direction with one practice left to go in the week. If he can get on the field Friday, he should have a good chance of suiting up against a stout Chargers defense that’s allowed the fewest points of any team in the league through the first 10 weeks.
  • HOU Wide Receiver #12
With the Texans not playing until Monday night, Thursday marks the team’s first practice of the week. Head coach DeMeco Ryans said on Tuesday that Collins would practice this week, so it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise to see him on the field to start the week. While he’s not a lock to return in Week 11, the general belief is that Collins will play against the Cowboys, barring any setbacks. He entered last week under the questionable tag and was ruled out after being a game-time decision during pre-game warmups. Collins’ practice status will be one to watch over the next few days.
  • MIA Wide Receiver #10
Hill caught three passes for 16 yards and a touchdown in the Dolphins’ Week 10 win over the Rams but had totaled 10 catches for 152 yards in his previous two games. Welker attributed last week’s performance to the Rams’ coverage, noting that the offense is “starting to realize how perfect” it has to be to get its receivers opened against coverages. The Dolphins get a very generous Week 11 matchup at home against the Raiders. It’s a good bounce-back spot for Hill in what is a must-win game for the Fins.
  • NYJ Quarterback #8
Rodgers, who turns 41 in December, isn’t exactly committing to playing next season, but he’s definitely not ruling it out. He and the 3-7 Jets have had their fair share of struggles this season, and returning for another year of losing probably isn’t his preferred way to go out. With eight weeks left in the season, it’s possible Rodgers will see how the rest of the year plays out before making any firm decisions. He’s under contract through the 2025 season and will earn $23.5 million if he does return.
  • MIN Quarterback #14
Darnold’s play has been spiraling over the past month and the last thing he needs is an injury to his throwing hand. Though there’s been no indication that this is a serious issue, it’s now on the growing list of concerns surrounding Darnold’s performance. Facing a tough Titans defense this week, Darnold will fall into the QB2 ranks for Week 11.
