  • TB Wide Receiver #13

Evans played through the hamstring issue once this year and immediately aggravated it, causing a multi-week absence. The Bucs are being extra cautious with Evans’ practice reps this time around to make sure the injury doesn’t flare up again. He was held out of practice on Wednesday and Thursday before being upgraded to a limited session to close the week. Evans being cleared from the report entirely is a good indicator that his light workload in practice is just a precaution. He remains near the top of the WR2 ranks for his Week 15 matchup with the Chargers.
  • LAC Quarterback #10
Herbert suffered a new ankle injury in Week 14 on top of a thigh contusion. He was held out of Wednesday’s practice but returned to the field for a limited session on Thursday. He was a full go in Friday’s practice. While Herbert is clearly playing at less than full strength, he gets a great matchup with the Bucs this week and might get his top receiver, Ladd McConkey, back in the fold. Herbert remains a low-end QB1 for the quarterfinal round of most fantasy leagues.
  • DAL Wide Receiver #88
Lamb was upgraded to a full practice to close the week before being removed from the injury report, though he never appeared to be at risk of missing this game in the first place. He has been playing through the shoulder issue for a few weeks and will do so again for a great matchup with a weak Carolina secondary. Lambs remains in the WR1 ranks for Week 15.
  • SEA Running Back #9
Walker missed Week 14, paving the way for a career day from Zach Charbonnet. Charbs rushed 22 times for 134 yards and two scores while adding seven grabs for an additional 59 yards. Walker won’t play through the doubtful tag this week, putting Charbonnet back in the RB1 ranks for his upcoming matchup with the Packers. Walker will eye a Week 16 return versus the Vikings, though there’s no guarantee he will be back by then.
  • IND Wide Receiver #1
When asked if Downs will play, head coach Shane Steichen only said, “We’ll see.” Despite practicing in full to close the week, it doesn’t sound like Downs’ return to the lineup is a forgone conclusion. If active, Downs will immediately reclaim his role as the Colts’ No 1 receiver, putting him back in the WR2 ranks. Fantasy nmanagers will want to watch the Colts’ inactives ahead of kickoff to be sure Downs is good to go.
  • PIT Wide Receiver #14
Head coach Mike Tomlin didn’t sound optimistic on Pickens’ odds of suiting up earlier this week, so his absence isn’t much of a surprise. Tomlin also noted that the team shut him down last week to prevent a small problem from becoming a large one. This doesn’t sound like an issue that will linger for much longer, though Pickens did not practice at any point this week. Fantasy managers should look elsewhere for FLEX plays as the Steelers did not have a receiver top four targets without Pickens last week.
  • NO Running Back #41
Interim head coach Darren Rizzi told reporters it was his decision to hold Kamara out of Thursday’s practice. He did so as a precaution given how sick Kamara was earlier in the week. The veteran back got in a full practice on Friday and is good to go for Week 15. With Kendre Miller finally getting some looks in the Saints backfield, Kamara is at risk of falling out of the RB1 ranks versus the Commanders, though fantasy managers should still be finding a spot in their lineups for him.
  • GB Wide Receiver #87
Doubs practiced in full throughout the week and cleared the league’s concussion protocol before the final injury report. The third-year wideout will return to a full-time role this week. Doubs hasn’t been much of a target-commanders despite running plenty of routes. He has more than four catches in just one game. Doubs is stuck on the WR3/4 border for his Week 15 matchup with Seattle.
  • LAR Tight End #89
McVay noted that Higbee still needs to make it through next week’s practices without any setbacks and nothing is finalized ye. Still, all signs point to the veteran tight end making his debut in Week 16. Higbee has been practicing in full for multiple weeks as part of his return from the torn ACL he suffered in the playoffs last season. With Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua dominating the looks for LA, Higbee is not on the fantasy radar for his 2024 debut.
  • CLE Wide Receiver #19
Tillman returned to practice this week but was unable to clear the league’s concussion protocol in time for Sunday’s game. With David Njoku also expected to miss Week 15, the Browns will funnel the bulk of their targets to Jerry Jeudy and Elijah Moore. Jeudy is pushing for a WR1 ranking this week while Moore is in the WR2 mix.
