  • MIN Quarterback #14
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
Darnold’s play has been spiraling over the past month and the last thing he needs is an injury to his throwing hand. Though there’s been no indication that this is a serious issue, it’s now on the growing list of concerns surrounding Darnold’s performance. Facing a tough Titans defense this week, Darnold will fall into the QB2 ranks for Week 11.
  • PHI Wide Receiver #6
The Eagles estimated Smith as a DNP for the first practice of the week but upgraded him to a limited session on Tuesday and Wednesday. His practice reps will likely remain limited going forward, but he doesn’t appear to be at any risk of missing time because of the minor hamstring issue. Smith sits in the WR2 ranks for a potential shootout with the Commanders.
  • PHI Tackle #68
Mailata went on injured reserve a month ago after suffering a severe hamstring injury. He was a full participant in practice today and did not get a questionable tag after being removed from injured reserve. The Eagles are getting healthy at the right time as they gear up for a crucial matchup with the Commanders that could decide the fate of the NFC East.
  • SF Tight End #85
Kittle has played through a variety of injuries this year and doesn’t need to practice on Wednesday before suiting up on Sunday. However, his only absence came in Week 3 when he was forced to sit because of a hamstring issue. We will get a better idea of his status later this week but Kyle Shanahan did tell reporters he expected Kittle to resume practicing on Thursday. The 49ers don’t have a backup tight end who would step into Kittle’s role, meaning his targets would be dispersed among the established pass-catchers.
  • WAS Running Back #8
Robinson missed the past two weeks while nursing the hamstring issue. He was upgraded to a full practice on Wednesday before being cleared for action. Robinson had parlayed his two-down role on one of the league’s best offenses into a weekly RB2 ranking before suffering the hamstring issue. Now he gets a potential shootout with the Eagles. His fantasy output may be a bit more dependent on touchdowns than usual this week, but fantasy managers can fire him up as an RB2 once again.
  • SEA Wide Receiver #14
Metcalf first missed Week 8 with the knee issue. He appeared to have a shot at suiting up for Week 9 but Seattle held him out with their bye week on tap next. Coming out of the week off, Metcalf should be able to return to action this week, though we’d love to see him get a full practice in before the final injury report. Jaxon Smith-Njigba broke out with 180 yards and two scores before the bye and would be in line for a high-end WR2 ranking if Metcalf misses any more time.
  • DET Tight End #87
Per head coach Dan Campbell, LaPorta remains day to day with the sprained AC joint he suffered in Week 10 against the Texans. LaPorta left the game in the second half and did not return. The second-year tight end does appear to be at risk of missing Week 11, though he is luckily not dealing with a long-term issue. Brock Wright would draw the start if LaPorta can’t suit up. He would be a touchdown-or-bust TE2 versus the Jags.
  • LV Quarterback #10
Even Pierce, who is fighting for his job and is currently losing the battle, isn’t desperate enough to turn to Desmond Ridder. The Raiders haven’t won a game since September and Minshew struggled in his most recent start, throwing for 124 scoreless yards versus the Bengals before being pulled for Ridder late in the game. Minshew is the best option for the fantasy outlooks of Brock Bowers and Jakobi Meyers but isn’t on the QB2 radar for Week 11.
  • KC Running Back #10
Pacheco on Tuesday was designated for return from injured reserve but will miss at least one more game as he comes back from a broken leg he sustained in September. Kareem Hunt will continue operating as the team’s lead back and has a fairly soft matchup against Buffalo in Week 11. Look for Pacheco to seize lead back duties upon his return.
  • KC Wide Receiver #9
As expected, JuJu got in a limited practice on Wednesday, putting him on track to return from a hamstring injury he suffered in late October. Since then, the Chiefs acquired DeAndre Hopkins from the Titans. It’s a move that will make Smith-Schuster a tertiary pass catching option in the balanced Kansas City offense. He should be picked up in deeper formats in case Hopkins misses time in the second half of the season.
