  • NO Wide Receiver #12

Olave is still making his way through the league’s concussion protocol following his Week 6 brain injury but Underhill said the receiver has a chance to suit up in Week 8 against the Chargers. With Rashid Shaheed (knee) done for the season, Olave could see a spike in targets in the balanced Saints offense. Olave drafters should check his Thursday and Friday practice status before plugging him into lineups this week.
  • TB Wide Receiver #13
Evans went down with what looked to be a serious hamstring injury in Monday night’s loss to the Ravens. He entered the game nursing a hamstring issue. It’s an injury with which Evans has struggled throughout his career. It wouldn’t be surprising if Evans missed multiple weeks. Jalen McMillan and Sterling Shepard could function as the Bucs’ top two wideouts with Evans and Chris Godwin (ankle) sidelined. Cade Otton would also see a target boost.
  • TB Wide Receiver #14
Godwin suffered a frightening ankle dislocation near the end of the Bucs’ Monday night loss to the Ravens and was carted off the field. His season is over. It’s a giant blow to the pass-heavy Tampa offense, along with Mike Evans’ apparently serious hamstring injury that could keep him sidelined for a while. Jalen McMillan and Sterling Shepard are set to be the team’s top two wideouts for the time being.
  • WAS Quarterback #5
The Commanders, per Rapoport, are going to be “more cautious than anything” in handling the rib injury Daniels sustained in Week 7 against Carolina. Commanders head coach Dan Quinn said Daniels is “week to week,” adding the team hopes he can suit up Sunday against Chicago. Fantasy managers should assume Daniels misses at least one game. Marcus Mariota, who had 205 yards and two scores in Week 7, would get the call against the Bears if Daniels is sidelined.
  • ARI Wide Receiver #18
Harrison Jr. has all the talent in the world but continues to be restricted by his offensive coordinator, with a pass game design that fails in providing an environment conducive to upside-generating routes for the primary pass-catchers. Considering his lone eruption game this season came with quarterback Kyler Murray making plays happen out of structure, we could be continuing to share in Harrison Jr.'s visible frustration for as long as Drew Petzing is calling plays in the desert. Up next for Harrison Jr. and the Cardinals is a Dolphins team expecting to get quarterback Tua Tagovailoa back from his most recent concussion in Week 8.
  • ARI Tight End #85
McBride led the team in targets but was out-gained by running back James Conner. While the third-year tight end continues to display elite athleticism on a weekly basis, offensive coordinator Drew Petzing’s pass offense remains unimaginative and flat, most notably constraining McBride to low upside routes over the middle of the field and to the sideline. Until that changes, McBride unfortunately feels restricted to low end TE1 production.
  • ARI Running Back #6
The only thing Conner failed to do in this one was find paint after functioning as the primary point of emphasis for a Cardinals team that pulled off the upset at home. Most notably, a timely fumble recovery after a 41-yard reception from Jalen Reagor at the three yard line allowed the Cardinals to control the flow of the game on the ground, keeping the ball away from the elite run offense of the Chargers in the process. Conner continues to see reliable volume for a Cardinals team suddenly just one game back for the division lead.
  • ARI Quarterback #1
In what seemed like a reenactment of his celebration at the 40 yard line on a long touchdown run a few weeks back, Murray broke free off the edge in the second half and took a 44-yard run to the house, holding the football up to the crowd at the 30 yard line on his way to the end zone. Murray and the Cardinals struggled to get much going through the air against the stout and zone-heavy Chargers defense, making up for the lack of aerial production with 181 total yards on the ground. The Cardinals improve to 3-4 and played their way into contention in the tight NFC West, looking to further their playoff chances nearing the midpoint of the season in a Week 8 matchup with a Dolphins team expecting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa back from his third concussion.
  • LAC Wide Receiver #15
McConkey was victimized by two uncharacteristic drops as the Chargers were forced to the air 39 times against a Cardinals defense that emphasized stopping the run. While the seven targets were nice, the short-area role of McConkey in a typically low pass volume offense leaves a lot to be desired as far as fantasy expectations moving forward are concerned. Up next for McConkey and the Chargers is a reeling Saints team in Week 8.
  • LAC Wide Receiver #5
Palmer played with a heavy brace on his injured elbow but managed to finish second in receiving on a night quarterback Justin Herbert threw an uncharacteristic 39 passes. Even with the increased pass volume, Palmer managed just five targets as the offense functioned primarily through Will Dissly against the zone-heavy Cardinals defense. Palmer should have better fantasy days ahead if he can shake the string of injuries he has suffered early in the season.
