The veteran quarterback carousel continues to churn. The 41-year-old Rodgers reportedly prefers to head to Los Angeles to play for the Rams and wants to pair up with Davante Adams once again. It would be the third team Rodgers and Adams would play together on, after a successful stint on the Packers and a short, unsuccessful stint with the Jets. The Rams would only consider bringing in Rodgers if they deal the incumbent Matthew Stafford, who has been heavily rumored to move on. One potential scenario is a Stafford trade to the Giants while Rodgers and Adams head to the Rams for one more hurrah.

“It’ll be good for Anthony,” Ballard said. Richardsoncoin is getting liquidated left and right. That the Colts would put this out there doesn’t necessarily mean that Richardson won’t win a competition — it’s hard to tell what quality of quarterback the Colts want to bring in during free agency. Peters just turned 43 years old and was on Seattle’s practice squad as recently as last year. Fittingly, the NFL lifer will be joining the Seahawks’ front office as an assistant to vice president of player affairs Mo Kelly. Seahawks GM John Schneider made the announcement at the NFL Combine. Peters entered the NFL as a UDFA and quickly worked his way into the Bills’ starting lineup. He eventually made his way to Philly where he became a Super Bowl champion. Peters ended his career with two First-Team All-Pro nods and nine Pro Bowl appearances.

Legette briefly popped up on the injury report with a toe issue in the middle of the season but didn’t miss any time because of it. It’s unclear if this procedure is related to the toe injury. Legette dealt with a wrist injury late in the year as well. It was expected to require surgery as well. Morgan noted that he did not end up needing surgery on his wrist. Legette is expected to resume running sooner rather than later. The health issues exacerbated a frustrating season for the rookie wideout. Legette averaged a dreadful 5.9 yards per target and fell just short of 500 yards through the air. A quick recovery and a healthy offseason are hopefully what he needs to turn the corner in 2025.

Veach also shot down the idea that March 15, when Kelce is due a hefty roster bonus, is a deadline for Kelce to make a decision. Andy Reid, on the other hand, didn’t have anything definitive to say on the matter when speaking with reporters. Nothing is final and Veach made that clear, but it does sound like Kelce will be back for one more year. The age-35 tight end is coming off a down year for his lofty standards. He was held to 823 yards at 6.2 yards per target. Both marks were the worst of his career excluding his redshirt rookie season. Even if Kelce comes back, the Chiefs will need to add more firepower to their pass-catching group this offseason.

Head coach Kevin O’Connell seemed confident at the NFL Combine that McCarthy would be able to participate in the team’s offseason workouts after missing his entire rookie campaign with a knee injury. McCarthy resumed on-field training in mid-January and has continued making progress after undergoing two knee surgeries — the second one to address major swelling that had developed. McCarthy could step into Minnesota’s starting role if the team parts ways with 2024 starter Sam Darnold this offseason. The Vikings are reportedly considering using the franchise tag to keep Darnold for one more season. “Sam is in a position where the NFL thinks he can play football at a very high level,” O’Connell said. “We’ll see where it goes.”

Sixteen women have come forward with sexual misconduct allegations against Tucker, as reported by the Baltimore Banner. Tucker has denied the allegations. “I think we’re fortunate that the league is doing an investigation. We’ll wait as patiently as we can for as much information as we can and we’ll make our decisions based on that,” DeCosta said Tuesday at the NFL Combine, adding that the allegations are “serious, concerning. The amount of allegations are serious and concerning.” Head coach John Harbaugh said back in 2022 that the Ravens take a “zero tolerance” policy toward sexual misconduct. Coming off the worst season of his NFL career, Tucker might not be back with Baltimore in 2025.
