  • LV Tight End #89
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
Denver’s elite secondary focused on taking Bowers away from Gardner Minshew a week after Bowers had 13 receptions for 126 yards and a touchdown against the Dolphins. Pat Surtain covered Bowers for some of the game, and the Broncos used a considerable amount of bracket coverage against the standout rookie tight end. Bowers and Jakobi Meyers combined for about half of the Raiders’ targets against the Broncos. Bowers will be a top-three fantasy option in Week 13 against the Chiefs. He had five grabs for 58 yards against KC in Week 5.
  • LV Wide Receiver #16
It was a season-high yardage total for Meyers as the Broncos focused on shutting down Brock Bowers. Meyers avoided Pat Surtain in coverage and was peppered by Gardner Minshew throughout. He even saw an end zone look from Desmond Ridder after Minshew left the game with a collar bone injury. Meyers, who has at least six receptions in five games this season, should be a top-30 fantasy play in Week 13 against a tough Kansas City secondary. Ridder represents a big downgrade for every Vegas pass catcher.
  • DEN Wide Receiver #17
With 15 receptions over the past three outings, Vele has established himself as Denver’s clear No. 2 wideout behind Courtland Sutton. No other Denver wideout had more than five targets against the Raiders. The rookie saw a handful of underneath targets and operated primarily in the middle of the field against a middling Vegas secondary. The reliable Vele has distanced himself from every other secondary and tertiary Broncos pass catcher, making him a WR3/4 option for Week 13 against the Browns.
  • DEN Wide Receiver #14
Sutton time and again won contested catches against overmatched Vegas defenders. That included a lofted touchdown from Bo Nix in the back of the end zone in the first half. He nabbed another score in the second half. Sutton now has 467 receiving yards over his past five games as Nix’s go-to guy in critical situations. Sutton, who has dominated targets and air yards in the Denver offense all season long, should be seen as a locked-in WR2 option going forward. He gets the Browns in Week 13.
  • SEA Quarterback #7
Despite the victory, the Seahawks offense was not rolling over the Cardinals in this game. Smith nearly had a safety via intentional grounding in the first half, while he recovered his own third quarter fumble. He threw a fourth quarter interception in the endzone, disrupting a Seahawks drive and nearly shifting momentum to the Cardinals. Smith’s sole touchdown of the game was a three-yard pass toe Jaxon Smith-Njigba in the second quarter, with the defense scoring the other touchdown of the day. The positive is that the Seahawks’ skill players are making plays for the offense and Smith’s ability to scramble and extend plays can be an asset. Smith is a high-end QB2 against a stumbling Jets team in Week 13.
  • ARI Quarterback #1
Murray and the Cardinals offense struggled in an NFC West matchup against the rival Seahawks. Only scoring one field goal per half, the Cardinals failed to push the ball down field and finished the only two scoring drives they had without touchdowns. Trey McBride was responsible for 15 of Murray’s 37 pass attempts, with Murray settling for checkdowns and throws to the flat often. He nearly had a fumble and interception in the first quarter, but both were ruled incomplete. On a 4th-and-1 play in the third quarter, Murray rolled out to his right and threw a pass directly to Seahawks DB Coby Bryant, who returned it for a back-breaking pick-6. Murray took five sacks as he and the Cardinals offense turned in a lackluster Week 12 amidst a rollercoaster of an offensive season. He is a high-end QB2 against the Vikings for Week 13.
  • DEN Quarterback #10
Nix picked apart an exploitable Raiders coverage unit from start to finish. His two touchdown tosses give Nix eight touchdowns over the past three games after running cold on touchdowns in the season’s first couple months. Nix’s rushing has continued to dry out, however, removing some of his fantasy upside. Almost half of Nix’s attempts against Vegas went to Courtland Sutton and Devaughn Vele, who combined for 177 yards and two scores on the day. Nix continues to impress on his way to a potential Rookie of the Year win. He’ll have a much tougher Week 13 matchup against a Browns defense allowing the NFL’s seventh lowest drop back success rate.
  • LV Quarterback #15
Minshew was sacked by a trio of Denver defenders late in the fourth quarter and appeared to be in significant pain. It appeared to be a left shoulder injury for Minshew, who was helped to the locker room. He had 230 yards, a touchdown, and an interceptions before exiting the game. Desmond Ridder replaced Minshew and immediately lost a fumble to the swarming Broncos defense. Ridder would represent a major downgrade for Brock Bowers and Jakobi Meyers if he’s forced to start in Week 13 against the Chiefs.
  • HOU Wide Receiver #12
It could have been a bigger day as Collins scored a go-ahead touchdown in the fourth quarter before an illegal shift penalty brought it all back. Collins got free for a 56-yarder in man coverage and looked fully healthy. He’ll be on the WR1 line against the Jaguars next week, but we’re a little underwhelmed by how the Texans passing offense has looked with him back.
  • HOU Quarterback #7
He only took four sacks, which made him the better of the two quarterbacks in this game, but he did get pressured into a game-losing safety on his own goal line after one of them. Stroud looked better with Nico Collins back in general, but the second half was a dire place as the Texans anchored in on running the ball in a game where they couldn’t run the ball. Stroud’s first pick looked like a miscommunication, but his second was a bad ball to Collins across the field, deep in the down. Jacksonville’s defense will make him a borderline QB1 next week, but we’re running out of belief that the rookie year production is coming back this year.
