  • BUF Defensive End #50
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports the deal includes $54 million guaranteed. The Bills wasted no time in extended their defensive end, doing so prior to the final year on his rookie contract. The extension will now tie Rousseau to the Bills through his age-29 season. Rousseau has played three seasons for the Bills after opting out of the pandemic-shortened 2020 season, amassing 129 tackles, 30 tackles for a loss, and 17 sacks in his time with the team.
  • KC Wide Receiver #5
Hollywood returns to the Chiefs after appearing in just two regular season contests following a pre-season injury. The once-stalwart Chiefs have dealt with numerous off-the-field issues at wide receiver the previous two off-seasons, with the most recent being second-year wide receiver Xavier Worthy’s arrest on Saturday. Brown’s speed and veteran status bring an inkling of stability to a pass-catching corps seemingly in continuous turmoil in recent history. Brown averaged 66% of the team’s offensive snaps in his two playoff appearances last season.
  • KC Wide Receiver #1
Worthy has been charged with assault against a family or household member by impeding their breathing or circulation. The 21-year-old will face serious consequences from the criminal justice system and could also face a possible suspension from the NFL under the league’s personal conduct policy once the legal process unfolds. We’ll have additional updates and more information on this story as it develops.
  • PIT Quarterback #3
Schultz also reports Wilson is maintaining an “open dialogue” with the Steelers, but that both he and Justin Fields appear to have strong free agent markets. The Steelers have made it clear they won’t be keeping both of their 2024 signal callers, but now the question becomes if they will be able to keep either. The Giants could have interest in Wilson as a potential piggyback option for a first-round quarterback.
  • PIT Quarterback #2
“They love his athleticism, leadership traits, ability to move the pocket and maybe most importantly, believe his best football is ahead of him,” Schultz reported Friday evening, For the Steelers’ part, Schultz reports the sides are maintaining an “open dialogue.” It would appear Fields is drawing some legitimate starting interest, though he could still end up in a Sam Darnold-type situation where he’s signed only for a rookie to be drafted the following month. With his market already beginning to come into focus, Fields could be one of the first players to sign upon the beginning of Monday’s “legal tampering” period.
  • FA Running Back #4
ESPN’s Adam Schefter was first to report the news. One month shy of his 30th birthday, Edwards was a free agent disappointment in 2024 with just 365 yards and four scores on 101 carries (3.6 YPC). He struggled to command handles even when J.K. Dobbins was sidelined. Edwards’ release is probably the first step toward a complete backfield overhaul for Jim Harbaugh’s Chargers. Despite last year’s ineffectiveness, Edwards could still draw open market interest as a bottom-dollar early-down back who is comfortable with a No. 3 role.
  • MIN Quarterback #14
The Seahawks traded Smith to the Raiders on Friday for a third-round pick, and if they have their druthers, they’ll replace him with Darnold. The 27-year-old quarterback is looking for a three-year deal, and with Seattle having nothing else in the pipeline — and a draft pick that likely won’t allow them to target a signal-caller — it’s likely they’ll be willing to honor that task. While Darnold’s final two games were less-than-ideal, he was impressive in helping the Vikings make the postseason, and there’s no denying the upside in his right arm.
  • SEA Quarterback #7
Ian Rapoport of NFL.com was first to report the deal, and multiple outlets report that the signal-caller is expected to get a new contract with the trade. Mike Garofolo writes that it’s the 92nd pick of the draft, as the Raiders had multiple third-round selections. Smith finished his third year as the starter for the Seahawks with 4,320 yards passing, a 70.4 percent completion percentage and a 20/14 TD/INT over 17 starts. The 34-year-old will head to Las Vegas to be the starter, and it’s fair to say that the weapons at his disposal — with all due respect to Brock Bowers — are a downgrade over what he had in Seattle. Still, it’s a reunion with former coach Pete Carroll, and he’ll get a chance to help the Raiders try and compete in the vaunted AFC West. The big question now is what Seattle does to address the quarterback position.
  • FA Linebacker #58
The move will create just shy of $11 million in cap space for Tennessee while leaving them with a $13.1 million dead cap charge. The Titans tried to find a trade partner for Landry but couldn’t land any takers because of his contract. The veteran defender had two seasons left on the five-year, $87.5 million contract he signed ahead of the 2022 season. Landry tore his ACL in 2022 but returned to form the following year, logging 10.5 sacks. His sack total took a slight hit last year, falling to nine. Landry will turn 29 years old before the upcoming season but is still an above-average starter at his position. Expect him to have plenty of suitors on the open market.
  • PHI Tight End #88
This belief stems from an unnamed source who said as much to McLane, after McLane looked to confirm similar comments from an anonymous agent. Goedert is in the final year of his deal and is set to be a free agent heading into 2026. Any decision to release Goedert, however, would be an odd one, as the only cap savings, as far as 2025 is concerned, would come with a post-June 1 cut that could net them $4.054 million in savings but also carries a dead cap hit over $7.7 million. Goedert has struggled to stay healthy in recent years, but is among the top tight ends in the league when healthy. With few good options available via trade or free agency, the Eagles could be better off letting Goedert play out the final year of his deal if they can afford it.
