Garafolo adds that Kupp “is going to make a lot of money” and could get close to $16 million. Kupp grew up in Washington state, and Garafolo confirmed that playing for his hometown team does appeal to Kupp, but this could simply come down to money. Per OverTheCap, the Seahawks currently have $60.8 million available in 2025 cap space. The Jaguars have $46.4 million and the Saints have just $16.289 million. No one should count the Saints out though, given GM Mickey Loomis’ infamous salary cap gymnastics. Garafolo adds that he expects Kupp to put pen to paper with a new team today.

Mostert will turn 33 next month. After defying Father Time in his age 31 season, when he ran for 1,012 yards and totaled 21 touchdowns in 2023, Mostert was an afterthought in Miami’s offense last season. While a chest injury forced Mostert to miss a handful of games early in the season, the veteran running back still appeared in 13 games on the year but averaged only eight touches per game when active. The Raiders need more than an aging back to fix an offense that finished dead last in yards per carry (3.6) last season, but Mostert could prove to be a solid value if there’s anything left in the tank.

It’s not all that surprising to hear that a team that stubbornly struggled to re-sign its key players is equally as difficult when it comes to trading others. Russini reports that “teams are willing to pay Hendrickson the contract he desires,” suggesting that the asking price on the Bengals’ end is simply too much to get a deal done at this time. Hendrickson will be 30 at the start of next season and has racked up 34 sacks over the last two years. By allowing Hendrickson to seek a trade with another suitor, the belief is the team will eventually sign Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins to long-term deals this offseason. Their asking price for Hendrickson could eventually come down, but with the offseason just getting underway, the Bengals could opt to wait to see how things develop in the coming months.

31-year-old Kupp, of course, is from Washington and played his college ball at Eastern Washington. Seattle is also direly short on wideouts after cutting Tyler Lockett and trading DK Metcalf. It can likely only serve to help their case that they play Kupp’s former Rams squad twice per season. Despite Kupp’s many question marks — injury and aging chief amongst them — he should have a new home within 48 hours time.

Dulac is speaking specifically about Rodgers and the Steelers. “The offer has been made,” Dulac reports. “It’s about Rodgers taking his good ol’ time about making a decision.” In typical Rodgers fashion, he is keeping the Steelers, Giants and supposedly maybe even the Vikings in suspense. The act can’t go on much longer than another day or two, but there haven’t been any indications a decision is imminent. Ultimately, the tea leaves seem to suggest Pittsburgh. Stay tuned.

Williams spent the first seven years of his career with the Chargers before playing for both the Jets and Steelers in 2024. His most recent season as a Charger, 2023, was shortened by an ACL tear in Week 3. He struggled to perform well last year, playing on a surgically repaired knee while learning two new playbooks in one season. While he may never return to his prior form, Williams’ return to Los Angeles and his reunion with Justin Herbert should yield improved box score performances. Williams will likely compete for the No. 3 role, with incumbent Quentin Johnston presumably operating in the No. 2 role.

Garafolo specifically links Kupp to the Jaguars, whose new head coach, Liam Coen, and general manager, James Gladstone, both spent time working with the Rams during Kupp’s tenure there. Multiple teams are undoubtedly pursuing Kupp though, and Garafolo indicated that a new deal could come this evening.

The Eagles tried to squeeze Pittsburgh for a draft pick when they found out a deal was in place on Monday but had no leverage in the situation and ultimately released the veteran corner. Once Slay was officially a free agent, he inked a fully guaranteed deal with Pittsburgh. The age-34 corner was still a key cog in Philly’s Super Bowl defense last year, breaking up 13 passes and forcing a fumble. He also led all players with five postseason pass defenses. Despite his strong play, the Eagles were hit on multiple corners in the draft and wanted more cap space over retaining Slay. He stays in Pennsylvania with a starting role for the Steelers on tap for 2025.

The Jags parted ways with Engram last week to free up just under $6 million in cap space. The veteran tight end was coming off a down season marred by injuries, and Jacksonville had Brenton Strange waiting in the wings. Despite the disappointing end to his Jaguars tenure, Engram had multiple suitors in free agency including the Broncos and Chargers. He now heads to Denver where Sean Payton has been yearning to find a player to fill his “joker” role ever since he signed on with the team. Engram is in line for plenty of short-area targets and screens as a potential YAC creator for Bo Nix. If he can earn enough volume, Engram should stick at the back of the TE1 ranks for at least one more year. The new deal includes $16.5 million in guaranteed money.

It’s a miniscule swap of picks for the former No. 23 overall pick, but Elam failed to find his footing in Buffalo and the Bills were more than ready to move on. Elam only appeared in 29 games through three seasons with the Bills. He missed time due to injuries but was also a healthy scratch at times. A trade was the best outcome for all involved. Elam will now look to revive his career in Dallas while the Cowboys are hoping to buy low on a former first-round selection.
