  • CLE Quarterback #17
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski declined to name a Week 16 starter on Monday. It appears he’ll bench Jameis Winston after his disastrous Week 15 outing against the Chiefs in which he threw three interceptions and no touchdowns. Thompson-Robinson under center for Cleveland is a major blow to everyone in the Browns offense. Jerry Jeudy goes from borderline WR1 status to WR4 and David Njoku, fighting through a hamstring injury, will be barely usable in 12-team formats. The Bengals defense is very much in play with the inaccurate DRT starting for the Browns.
  • KC Quarterback #15
Though Mahomes is “built differently,” per Rapoport, and won’t miss the usual 4-6 weeks it takes to recover from a high ankle sprain, his Week 16 status is in doubt. That would mean Carson Wentz would get the nod for KC against the Texans. It would be a marked downgrade for Travis Kelce, DeAndre Hopkins, and the rest of the Chiefs pass catchers. The team will do everything in its power to have Mahomes ready to go for the postseason.
  • MIN Wide Receiver #18
His touchdown came as he ran a crosser in the back of the end zone and blew by a trail defender, it was one of the most open looks he’s had all season. Unfortunately Jefferson dropped another ball near the five-yard line that looked like it had scoring potential when he tried to turn and run with the ball before it got there. Jefferson took another Sam Darnold pass 17 yards to the one before Aaron Jones vultured the score. Jefferson will remain a high-end WR1 in Week 16, even with a draw against a stingy Seahawks pass defense.
  • LV Tight End #89
The entire offense struggled for more than three quarters, with Jakobi Meyers eventually leading the team in receiving while notching all five of his receptions on the final two drives of the game. Help appears to be on the way for Bowers and the rest of the pass-catching corps after Aidan O’Connell nearly played against the Falcons after not practicing all week, making it likely he returns for a Week 16 showdown with the struggling Jaguars.
  • LV Wide Receiver #16
All five of Meyers’ receptions came on the final two drives of the game for a Raiders team that struggled to move the football for more than three quarters. The general ineptitude of the Atlanta offense kept Las Vegas within striking distance in a game that came down to two Hail Mary attempts from Desmond Ridder. The veteran wide receiver appears likely to get back Aidan O’Connell for a Week 16 matchup with the Jaguars.
  • MIN Running Back #33
That makes touchdowns in three of four games for Jones. The Vikings had some trouble establishing it in the first half as they struggled with penalties and Jones had a pair of negative-one yard carries on a tough 15-play drive that ended with a pick. But they finally cracked Chicago’s defense late in the third quarter as Jones took seven carries on a 12-play drive that he capped with a score. Jones ceded some late playing time to Cam Akers, but that was about the game situation. He’ll be in the RB2 ranks for Week 16’s game against the Seahawks.
  • MIN Quarterback #14
The interception was forgivable as it happened on a fourth-down go and actually gained the Vikings some field position. Darnold threaded a good throw here or there, and the Vikings converted a lot of early third-and-longs on a deep-zone heavy Bears defense. For the most part, it was actually Chicago’s pass rush subduing him as Darnold took two sacks while right tackle Brian O’Neill spent the game shuttling back-and-forth between the locker room with an apparent knee injury. Justin Jefferson cost him (and Jefferson) a second likely touchdown with a drop near the five-yard-line in the second quarter. Darnold didn’t exactly light the world on fire, but he at least managed to mostly keep the Vikings out of harm’s way in a game where they were only up 13-0 until the end of the third quarter. A game against a surging Seahawks defense, but one that possibly will be trying to back an extremely rough-looking Sam Howell, will confusingly keep Darnold near the QB1 line for Week 16.
  • ATL Wide Receiver #1
The Atlanta defense held the anemic Las Vegas offense in check for more than three quarters, resulting in only 17 Kirk Cousins pass attempts as the Falcons focused on moving the football on the ground. That said, this was not a good effort from the Falcons nor Kirk Cousins, who missed multiple routine throws while the situational play calling from the sideline was severely lacking. Mooney could find more success against the struggling Giants in Week 16 however unlikely immense volume remains.
  • ATL Tight End #8
Pitts continues to split snaps with Charlie Woerner and Ross Dwelley due to the latter two’s blocking abilities, which has influenced Pitts’ snap and route participation rates during the second half of the season. Kirk Cousins and an extremely positive game environment did the athletic tight end no favors, which combined to limit the Falcons to just 17 pass attempts. 2024 will go down as a massive bust for the once-promising tight end prospect.
  • ATL Wide Receiver #5
London’s three targets were a byproduct of only 17 Kirk Cousins pass attempts as the defense completely erased a hapless Las Vegas offense playing with Desmond Ridder under center. London managed to salvage an otherwise pedestrian fantasy outing with the only touchdown scored by the Falcons. Better days are surely ahead for the towering wide receiver, although another struggling opponent in the Giants in Week 16 might preclude him from seeing significant volume once again.
