  • PIT Head Coach
There has been no word passed regarding when kickoff will occur but both teams warmed up as usual before returning to their respective locker rooms. Fans are currently allowed to remain in their seats.
  • GB Wide Receiver #13
Waiver wire darling Wicks fell flat against an exploitable Rams secondary. With Christian Watson sidelined, Wicks ran a route on 20 of the Packers’ 28 drop backs and saw a team-high 27 percent target share. Everything aligned for a decent day but the Love-Wicks connection fizzled out in a balanced offensive game plan. Wicks has now caught seven of 20 targets over the past two games. He’ll have to boost his efficiency if he’s going to come through in Week 6 against an Arizona defense that ranks among the NFL’s worst.
  • GB Quarterback #10
Love came back to guide Green Bay to victory after a mind-boggling pick six on a fall-away throw in the back of the end zone in the first half. Love was inconsistent for much of the game but made a handful of critical throws to keep drives alive against one of the league’s worst defenses. Love completed a gorgeous moon ball to Jayden Reed in the first half to put the Packers in scoring position, and hit Tyler Kraft for a well designed catch and run 66 yard score. Love’s pass catching weapons should keep him in the top-10 conversation every week. Love takes on a generous Arizona defense in Week 6.
  • HOU Running Back #33
If this is the split the Texans are going to use next week against the Patriots, Ogunbowale should have fantasy value if Joe Mixon and Dameon Pierce remain out. Ogunbowale is completely miscast as a between-the-tackles back, as the Texans noticed when they ran him into the line on a fourth-down go in the first half. But he’s proven capable of PPR scam lines in the C.J. Stroud offense and he can find a productive run here or there. Probably not worth a huge FAAB investment, but if Mixon and Pierce continue to sit, Ogunbowale could find himself in an RB3-esque role for Week 6.
  • HOU Running Back #22
Akers was surprisingly thrown into a timeshare with Dare Ogunbowale, but managed to salvage the day from a fantasy perspective with a touchdown. Neither back has shown a lot with their opportunities and the Texans have to be eagerly awaiting the return of Joe Mixon from his ankle injury. Mixon and Dameon Pierce’s recoveries will mean a lot for Akers’ fantasy playability against New England next week, but the fact that he shared the backfield really blunts any kind of volume-based argument for Akers.
  • JAX Quarterback #16
Embattled amidst the Jaguars’ 0-4 start, hundred-millionaire 2.5x over Lawrence locked in for a career-high yardage performance. His 10.9 yards per attempt were also 3.2 more than he had managed in any previous 2024 start. The multi-score effort was just his second, though second in two weeks. He had an 85-yard touchdown strike to Brian Thomas Jr. where Lawrence displayed confidence BTJ would run by the DB, as well as a four-yard end zone cash-in to Brenton Strange. He found Christian Kirk for a non-scoring, 61-yard completion where Lawrence hit Kirk after he ran by the entire defense. Put another way, Lawrence finally started hitting the big throws he’s been missing all year. We’ll see if he can get a hot streak going in Week 6 against a Bears defense that has been really tough on opposing passers.
  • HOU Quarterback #7
He added 27 rushing yards on the ground. The Texans struggled to move the ball late in the game without Nico Collins, as Stroud was picked off deep in Buffalo territory, fumbled deep in Texans territory, and was called for an intentional grounding that pushed the Texans out of field goal range in the fourth quarter. Stroud managed a key five-yard pass on the final drive of the game to give Ka’imi Fairbairn enough space to drill a winning field goal. It wasn’t a pretty game for fantasy managers, but Stroud should remain on the QB1 line for Week 6’s matchup against the Patriots.
  • NE Running Back #4
Gibson saw the Patriots’ first rushing attempt after head coach Jerod Mayo publicly benched Rhamondre Stevenson for fumbling four times in the season’s first month. Stevenson took over from there, leading the New England backfield with 16 touches before leaving in the fourth quarter with a knee injury. Gibson remains the team’s No. 2 back unless Stevenson misses time with his knee issue.
  • CIN Wide Receiver #1
The 193 yards were the third most of Chase’s increasingly-illustrious career. The two-score performance was his second in three weeks, with all five of his touchdowns coming over the past three games. Amazingly, he also ceded two touchdowns to Tee Higgins, while today was the first time this year he reached 10-plus targets. The big play was a fourth quarter receiver screen where Chase turned a swerving target into a swerving 70-yard YACmaster. His other score was a 41-yarder where a barely-executed Joe Burrow play fake still allowed Chase to get free on an in-breaking route over the middle deep. His speed did the rest. You could argue Chase still isn’t seeing enough targets, but his efficiency and play-making have been through the roof this season. The Giants are an excellent Week 6 road matchup.
  • BAL Quarterback #8
The 348 yards passing were the third most of Jackson’s career, while his four scores almost doubled his 2024 total. Relentlessly targeting tight ends not named Mark Andrews, he found Isaiah Likely for six- and one-yard scoring strikes, Charlie Kolar for a two-yarder, and Rashod Bateman from 16 yards out. The six-yarder to Likely was the play of the game, with Jackson turning a fumbled snap into a cross-body beauty into the end zone. His longest completion was a 55-yarder to Kolar where the seam man earned a free release off the line and Jackson did not miss. Jackson did commit two fumbles, losing one, while also taking a safety. It wasn’t a perfect day. But it was a reminder he can win football games every which way. The Commanders are an A+ Week 6 matchup.
