Nabers is dealing with a hip flexor injury that he suffered in Thursday’s practice. Head coach Brian Daboll let reporters know on Friday that this is a new injury that is not related to the groin injury Nabers has been dealing with all season. Nabers reportedly had an MRI, but per Giants beat writer Dan Salomone, the team is “not ruling him in or out yet for Sunday.” It sounds like the team will see how things progress over the weekend before making any official decisions, but Nabers seems to be trending on the wrong side of playing in Week 14 against the Saints.
  • TB Running Back #7
Irving missed both of the Buccaneers’ practices to start the week but is giving himself a chance to play in Week 14 by taking the field on Friday. We’ll have a better sense of his availability when the Buccaneers’ release their final injury report, but if Irving can’t go, both Rachaad White and Sean Tucker stand to have fantasy value in a plus matchup against the Raiders.
  • TB Wide Receiver #13
After missing Wednesday and Thursday’s practice, Evans made it on the field Friday to give himself a shot at suiting up in Week 14 against the Raiders. Evans played through his hamstring injury last week, but the calf injury is a new one. There’s a good chance Evans gets hit with a questionable tag heading into the weekend, but we’ll know more on that when the team releases its final injury report later in the day.
  • DET Quarterback #16
The three-score effort was Goff’s fourth of the season, while the interception was his first since his five-pick fiasco against the Texans four weeks ago. Locked in a tight battle, including trailing for large swaths of the second half, alleged front-runner Goff kept his wits about him even after a terrible third quarter INT allowed the Packers to go up 21-17 after trailing 17-7 at halftime. Spreading the ball around — six different Lions caught at least five passes — and employing tempo on many key downs, Goff played an effective, efficient point guard. All three of his scores came from inside the Packers’ three-yard line. Goff now has 10 days to rest up for a critical home test against the high-flying Bills.
  • GB Running Back #8
Jacobs was not technically targeted in the passing game, though he actually had a fourth TD called back by a Christian Watson pick play. The scores were his 10th, 11th and 12th of the season, with seven of those coming in the past three weeks. Jacobs is regressing to the mean after experiencing rough touchdown luck the first two months. It’s not hard to see why, as the sixth-year pro has been a tackle-breaking force his first season in Green Bay, very much including Thursday evening. Totally dominating the Packers’ backfield touches, Jacobs will remain a high-end RB1 for Week 15 against the Seahawks even with all 32 teams finally active.
  • LAC Wide Receiver #15
Asked about his status, McConkey projected optimism but did not guarantee he would suit up against the Chiefs. “Shoot, if I can play, I’m gonna play,” McConkey said. “At the end of the day, I’m gonna do whatever I need to do to get out there.” McConkey has been limited in both practices to start the week, which is a good sign for his Week 14 availability. With that in mind, the knee injury is something he picked up in Sunday’s win over the Falcons, and is worth keeping an eye on until the team releases its final injury report on Friday.
  • DAL Tight End #87
Ferguson missed two games with a concussion he suffered in Week 11 against the Commanders, but the fact he’s a full participant to start this week is a great sign for his availability on Monday night against the Bengals. Assuming he doesn’t suffer any setbacks, we’d expect Ferguson to be out of concussion protocol and on the field for Week 14, where he’ll profile as a solid TE1 in fantasy.
  • PHI Wide Receiver #6
That’s two straight full practices for Smith, who looks like a lock to return in Week 14 against the Panthers, barring any setbacks. His return couldn’t come at a better time, as Dallas Goedert is at risk of missing several weeks and could be a candidate for short-term IR. When he’s active, Smith will profile as a solid WR2 for Sunday’s game against the Panthers.
  • LV Wide Receiver #16
A Thursday DNP is never a great sign, so we’ll see where things go for Meyers from here. The veteran receiver is coming off a six-catch, 97-yard performance in last week’s loss to the Chiefs and has gone for 16-218-0 on 25 targets over the last two weeks. With so many teams on bye, Meyers’ value becomes a little more amplified for fantasy managers hoping to make their way into the postseason. If Meyers is unable to go, we could be looking at a big week for Brock Bowers and an increased role for Tre Tucker.
  • CIN Wide Receiver #1
Chase hasn’t spent much time on the injury report this season, but we’ll assume this is a mild issue for the time being. The Bengals’ WR1 has caught 79 passes for 1,142 yards and 13 touchdowns this season and is well on his way to the best season of his career and a big pay day next offseason. We’ll assume Chase will be good to go for Week 14 against the Cowboys barring any surprise developments.
