  • LV Defensive Coordinator

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero was first. After previous reports that the Raiders were “working on a deal” to bring Graham back, things became official overnight. Graham has served as the Raiders’ defensive coordinator since 2022 and interviewed for a handful of head coaching positions this offseason before finding his way back to Vegas. Last season, Graham’s defense ranked 25th in points allowed but 15th in total yards allowed. They also ranked in the top 16 in both EPA per play and success rate. The advanced stats suggest Graham’s defense was far better than the 25.5 points per game they allowed in 2024. With head coach Pete Carroll and Tom Brady taking on a bigger role as a part-owner, the best days could be ahead for Graham, who should have a much better roster to work with in 2025.
  • LAR Quarterback #9
Stafford turns 37 in February but plans to play in 2025, according to Rapoport. The veteran finished the season with 3,762 passing yards, 20 touchdowns, and eight interceptions as the Rams lost in the Divisional Round of the playoffs. Though he is under contract through 2026, Stafford is slated to make a non-guaranteed $27 million next season. The Rams and Stafford will likely revisit that so he has more guaranteed money under his belt heading into year No. 17 in the NFL.
  • FA Coaching Staff
The Jets interviewed Wilks on Wednesday and agreed to terms with him to be their new defensive coordinator. He last coached in the NFL as the 49ers’ defensive coordinator in 2023, spending time with the Panthers and Browns after becoming a one-and-done head coach with the Cardinals in 2018. He was also Missouri’s defensive coordinator in 2021 and served as a volunteer advisor for Charlotte in 2024. Newly hired Jets head coach Aaron Glenn will not be calling defensive plays, so Wilks’ role will be that of a play-caller to begin his Jets tenure.
  • JAX Wide Receiver #7
Widely considered a strictly boundary option coming into the league, Thomas made the most of his slot opportunities. Twenty-eight percent of Thomas’ 2024 routes came from the slot, and only Puka Nacua and Marvin Mims had a higher yards per route run from the slot. “I did not know he had the ability to do what he did in the slot,” Coen said. “I probably didn’t evaluate him hard enough, but also, they did a good job getting that right.” Only six receivers had more yards after the catch on slot targets than Thomas in 2024. He was fifth in wideout receiving yards as a rookie. Coen’s offense could funnel more short-area targets to Thomas in 2025, making him an elite fantasy option in all formats.
  • DAL Quarterback #4
Prescott said he was enthused to continue working under Schottenheimer, who has served as the Dallas offensive coordinator over the past two seasons. “The simple conversation I had with (owner) Jerry (Jones), post the decision of Mike walking, was simply that, the continuity,” Prescott said. “They wanted to keep continuity. Obviously had a lot of success with this group, with these men, and knew this was important to me. And Shotty has been a huge factor in that, setting up the game plan, creating the game plan. If you wanted to find continuity in place, look no further than Shotty.” Prescott struggled in 2024, throwing 11 touchdowns over eight games before suffering a season-ending hamstring injury that all but ended the Cowboys season. In 2023, Prescott posted 4,516 yards and 36 touchdowns in a Dallas offense that ranked third in success rate and second in EPA per play. The Cowboys in 2025 offense should look awfully familiar under Schottenheimer.
  • FA Head Coach
McCarthy has decided to forego coaching for the 2025 season and will focus on the 2026 hiring cycle. The Saints head coaching job was the last one available, but with Eagles OC Kellen Moore emerging as a frontrunner, it was not enticing enough for McCarthy to keep his name in New Orleans’ search. He coached the Cowboys for the past five seasons, but parted ways with the team after the 2024 season. McCarthy has made the playoffs in 12-of-18 head coaching seasons between the Packers and Cowboys, including a Super Bowl XLV win. The Saints now turn to their remaining head coaching options, Kellen Moore chief among them.
  • MIA Coaching Staff
Bevell, of course, was Pete Carroll’s offensive coordinator in Seattle from 2011-2017, sharing in the franchise’s multiple Super Bowl berths. He’s coached Dolphins quarterbacks for the past three years after washing out with the Lions in 2020 and Jaguars in 2021 at offensive coordinator. Bevell would not exactly be an inspiring hire for fantasy purposes, but he has plenty of NFL experience and can help get things up to a tenable level for the Raiders on the offensive side of the ball before they start thinking about optimizing everything.
  • CLE EDGE #95
The specific question and answer about trading Garrett was: “if someone sees you at dinner tonight and says, ‘we’ll give you two ones for Miles do you say I’m not interested?’” to which Berry said “Correct, you can put that on the record.” Berry also indicated a willingness to talk extension with Cleveland’s star pass rusher, saying “I think you can assume that we do anticipate at some point doing a third contract with Myles. We want him to retire here.” It’s not much of a surprise as the Browns have never operated as sellers at any point during Berry’s tenure and Garrett just put together a season as good as any edge player in the NFL, but there were some rumblings about the Browns considering a trade for Garrett in December. It does not look like that will come to pass.
  • DET Coaching Staff
With the Lions hiring John Morton as offensive coordinator and bypassing Engstrand, it makes plenty of sense for him to explore his other options. Wilson adds “many league sources expressed confidence [Engstrand] will land the job.” The assumed favorite for Jets offensive coordinator appeared to be Nick Caley, but it’s possible that the Jets just never expected Engstrand to actually be available. This could escalate quickly as the league moves to fill offensive coordinator chairs, and Engstrand would obviously have a huge role as playcaller in New York with Aaron Glenn coming up on the defensive side of the ball.
  • PIT Wide Receiver #14
Beyond George Pickens, who had 900 receiving yards and three touchdowns over 14 games in 2024, the Steelers had precious little in the way of viable wideouts. Van Jefferson and Calvin Austin alternated in operating as the No. 2 receiver for Pittsburgh. “I think we have positions in the wide receiver room we’re going to have to address,” Rooney said. “I think the wide receiver room is an area we’ve got to look at improving.” Rooney’s comments might mean the Steelers will pursue Chris Godwin or Tee Higgins in free agency this spring, or trade up in the NFL Draft for a top-end receiver. Any wideout addition would likely ding Pickens’ target domination in the run-first Steelers offense.
