  • CHI Quarterback #18
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
Sure sounds like the upcoming evaluations that Eberflus is still conveniently “in the process” of as of his latest press briefing are going to be coaching-focused. Williams took nine sacks (9 sacks?) in Chicago’s Week 10 loss to the Patriots. Something has got to give. We’d be surprised if Shane Waldron saw more than another sunrise as Bears offensive play caller.
  • HOU Wide Receiver #3
Dell and the Texans appeared to be cruising to a convincing upset over the Lions after taking a 23-7 lead into the half. Even while picking off Lions quarterback Jared Goff five times, the Texans were outscored 19-0 after the break to fall to 6-4. Never likely to be useful as a team’s top option through the air, Dell could find more room to maneuver once Nico Collins returns from a five-game absence, which appears likely to occur in Week 11 after the alpha wide receiver was activated from injured reserve this week. Dell will look to take advantage of a soft matchup against the Cowboys his next time out.
  • HOU Wide Receiver #8
A 23-7 halftime lead and five interceptions was not enough for the Texans to escape Week 10 with a victory after Detroit outscored Houston 19-0 after the break to steal away the win. Even so, Metchie notched his first professional touchdown after overcoming cancer his rookie season, offering flanking production opposite Tank Dell after Nico Collins was activated from injured reserve but announced as inactive against for the team’s game against the Lions. Metchie is likely to fall back to a tertiary role through the air once Collins returns, which appears likely to occur when the team faces the Cowboys in Week 11.
  • HOU Running Back #28
Mixon struggled to find any room to run against the stout Detroit defensive line, something that seemed to be masked by his production through the air and his touchdown until the Texans squandered a 23-7 halftime lead to fall to 6-4. Even so, fantasy managers have to be thrilled at the continued high usage for the veteran running back, who has operated as one of the only remaining true workhorse backs in the league this season, potentially returning one of the better fantasy profiles versus draft cost in fantasy drafts this offseason. Up next for Mixon and the Texans are the Cowboys on Monday Night Football in Week 11.
  • HOU Quarterback #7
Stroud and the rest of the Texans could do no wrong in the first half, taking a commanding 23-7 lead into the break. Their defense turned in five interceptions off Detroit quarterback Jared Goff, but they found no room on offense in the second half while being shutout in the final two frames. A missed field goal with under two minutes remaining gave the Lions excellent field position in a tied game, which gave them enough time and room to maneuver into field goal range to kick the winning points as time expired. The Texans became the first team since the 2021 Cardinals to register five interceptions and lose the game, falling to 6-4 and squandering an opportunity to take a commanding three-game lead in the division with only seven games yet to play. The Texans will look to regain the magic they had in the first half when they travel to Dallas to face the struggling Cowboys on Monday Night Football in Week 11.
  • DET Wide Receiver #9
Williams fell well behind both Amon-Ra St. Brown and Sam LaPorta in the target pecking order amidst first half struggles, eventually making two key grabs in the second half to aid in a ferocious comeback that had the Lions snatch victory from the clutches of defeat following a 23-7 deficit at the break. Williams made the catch of the night when he snared a ball between two defenders in the fourth quarter, maintaining possession while being sandwiched between defenders in a high-low collision, a play that eventually led to a St. Brown touchdown later in the drive. Williams could find better counting stats in a Week 11 matchup with the struggling Jaguars.
  • DET Wide Receiver #14
St. Brown struggled with the rest of the team in the first half but served as quarterback Jared Goff’s go-to man with the team in comeback mode. The Lions became the first team since 2012 to win a game in which their quarterback threw five interceptions, outscoring the Texans 19-0 in the second half to complete the comeback on a last-second Jake Bates field goal. St. Brown and the rest of the offense are likely to find better success early in Week 11 when they host the Jaguars.
  • DET Running Back #5
Montgomery had more carries than backfield mate Jahmyr Gibbs through three quarters, doing well to wear the relentless Houston defense down before giving way to the lightning to his thunder in the fourth quarter. Gibbs took over the game when it mattered most, but it was Montgomery that did a lot of the heavy lifting early. His touchdown saved an otherwise pedestrian fantasy performance, pushing his season total to seven on the ground this year. Montgomery could return better counting stats in Week 11 when the Lions host the underperforming Jaguars.
  • DET Running Back #26
As is typically the case with the Detroit backfield, David Montgomery did most of the heavy lifting in the first three quarters before giving way to the lightning of Gibbs with the game on the line. Gibbs was the driving force of the offense on the final two possessions of the game, each of which ended in field goals to send the Lions to a shocking victory after trailing 23-7 at the half. Gibbs could find more room early in Week 11 when the Lions host the floundering Jaguars.
  • DET Quarterback #16
The Lions struggled to get anything going in the first half and took a 23-7 deficit into the break. Things were far different as they came back out of the tunnel, with two key interceptions by Carlton Davis keeping the Lions in contention. They would eventually go on to outscore the Texans 19-0 in the second half to steal a victory from the clutches of defeat, with Goff doing just enough when it mattered most to send the Lions to a commanding 8-1 record to lead the NFC. It was the first time since 2012 when a quarterback threw five interceptions and their team won, when Matt Ryan’s five picks weren’t enough for the Cardinals to beat the Falcons. Up next for the surging Lions is a floundering Jaguars team in Week 11.
