  • PHI Wide Receiver #11
Brown practiced in full throughout the week. He told reporters earlier today that he feels back to 100 percent healthy coming off Philly’s bye week. Brown went for 119 yards and a touchdown in his Week 1 opener versus the Packers and has been out ever since. He immediately steps into the WR1 ranks for his upcoming matchup with the Browns.
  • IND Wide Receiver #1
Downs missed the first two practices of the week but returned for a full session on Friday, putting him on the optimistic side of questionable heading into the weekend. Downs has dominated targets since returning to the lineup a few weeks ago, amassing 26 looks over three weeks. With Anthony Richardson expected to play, Downs will fall deep into the WR3 ranks for his matchup with Tennessee.
  • IND Wide Receiver #11
It’s a truly odd situation for Pittman as ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Wednesday that he was expected to be sidelined for multiple weeks and that “injured reserve is an option.” Pittman did not practice on Thursday but was back for a full session on Friday before being listed as questionable. The veteran receiver told reporters on Friday, “We still don’t know what course of action is going to happen, but I’m just doing everything to put myself in the best situation to try and play.” Fantasy managers will want to be wary of this situation with Pittman possibly on a pitch count and Anthony Richardson replacing Joe Flacco after a one-week absence. Josh Downs is also questionable, further muddying Pittman’s outlook.
  • IND Quarterback #5
Colts head coach Shane Steichen called him a game-time decision earlier today. Richardson has been practicing in full this week, putting him on the right side of questionable heading into the weekend. As Fowler said, barring a setback, he should be good to go. Expect a run-heavy approach from the Colts in Ricahrdosn’s first game back in the lineup. Both the Colts and the Titans have banged-up quarterbacks for Week 6. Both teams will want to escape their matchup without any further injuries, likely resulting in a low-scoring affair.
  • SF Running Back #24
The “day-to-day” designation is the best-case scenario for Mason, who went down with the shoulder injury on Thursday Night Football versus Seattle. He attempted to play through the injury, but San Francisco gave him one second-half carry before putting him on ice for the remainder of the game. With a long turnaround until San Francisco’s Week 8 matchup with Kansas City, Mason may be able to return without missing any time. Rookie running back Isaac Guerendo should still be stashed in all formats.
  • SF Running Back #23
McCaffrey is currently on injured reserve. Once the team opens his practice window, they have 21 days to officially activate him from injured reserve or he will remain there for the remainder of the season. Not opening his window this week suggests he could be more than three weeks from returning. The 49ers get their bye in Week 9, so a Week 10 return is still on the table, though the news surrounding McCaffrey’s return has consistently broken against him since he started dealing with the Achilles injuries before Week 1.
  • TB Running Back #1
White was limited in Wednesday’s practice before being surprisingly downgraded on Thursday. He will be listed as questionable when the Bucs release their final injury report of the week. White had already been ceding work to rookie Bucky Irving before suffering the foot injury. Even if he suits up, it’s safe to assume Iriving’s role as the change-of-pace back isn’t going anywhere. Iriving would vault to the top of the RB2 ranks if White is ruled out before kickoff.
  • JAX Running Back #1
Etienne got banged up in Week 5 versus the Colts. He played through the injury but was clearly limited and ceded 13 carries to backup Tank Bigsby. Etienne rushed just six times. He should be back on top of the backfield in Week 6, but Bigsby has out-played him too often to go away, whether or not Etienne is healthy. Part of a dreaded backfield-by-committee, Etienne is a touchdown-based RB2 versus Chicago.
  • JAX Tight End #17
Engram was limited in practice throughout the week. He is still working his way back from the hamstring injury he suffered in pre-game warmups before Week 2. Doug Pederson said earlier in the week that the chances of Engram returning on Sunday were “pretty good.” That puts him on the right side of questionable, though he does appear to be a true game-time call. Brenton Strange would get the start if he is ruled out ahead of kickoff. Strange has 12 grabs for 120 yards and a score over the past four weeks.
  • PHI Wide Receiver #6
Smith cleared concussion protocol on Friday after practicing in full throughout the week. Both he and A.J. Brown are good to go for Week 6. Smith returns to face a banged-up Cleveland defense that hasn’t lived up to the hype from their legendary 2023 campaign. Smith is back in the WR2 ranks versus the Browns.
