Champagnie had to exit Friday’s win over the Pacers with a sore right knee, and he won’t play on Sunday. His absence opens a spot in the Wizards’ starting lineup, which could be filled by Kyshawn George, who is available to play.

Vukčević was limited to 20 minutes in Friday’s win over the Pacers, exiting due to a right hand contusion. Anthony Gill absorbed some of those minutes and would likely do so on Sunday if Vukčević can’t play. However, that does not guarantee Gill a spot start, as the Wizards went small and started Jamir Watkins the last time they were severely shorthanded in the post.

George did not play in Friday’s win over the Pacers, with Justin Champagnie replacing him in the starting lineup. With Champagnie (knee) also questionable for Sunday’s game, the Wizards may have to rely more on Will Riley. However, Riley has totaled 16 minutes over the last two games despite not showing up on the injury report.

Champagnie had to exit Friday’s win over the Pacers prematurely due to a sore right knee, playing 11 minutes. If he’s able to play, the way the Wizards have handled their rotation recently makes Champagnie a challenging player to trust in 12-team leagues.

ESPN’s Shams Charania reports Tristan Vukčević has signed a three-year, $9 million contract with the Wizards.

The deal includes a team option in the third year, according to Charania. Vukčević had previously been on a two-way contract. He figures to continue to work in the center rotation for Washington with most of his fantasy value coming when Alex Sarr has been out.

Alondes Williams accounted for 25 points (9-of-11 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs), 10 rebounds, four assists, one steal, two blocks and two three-pointers in Friday’s win over the Pacers.

Williams is on a 10-day contract, so his opportunities to impress are limited. Give him credit for making the most of his opportunity on Friday, playing 29 minutes and recording his first career double-double. Not selected in the 2022 draft, Williams’ fingerprints were all over the Wizards’ second victory in as many games. However, even with this performance, he isn’t worth the risk in most leagues for Sunday’s game against the Hornets.
Will Riley

Will Riley tallied 12 points (3-of-5 FGs, 6-of-8 FTs), one rebound, two assists and one steal in Friday’s win over the Pacers.

Before Friday’s game, Wizards head coach Brian Keefe said that he hoped to use Riley some at the point during Thursday’s win over the Pacers. Why the inability to do so led to the rookie playing for only four minutes was a question that went unanswered. And for those hoping to see more of Riley on Friday, he played 12 minutes. The good news is that the 6-foot-8 wing was productive, but this is something to watch moving forward. Hopefully, the low minutes don’t become the norm for Riley.

Tre Johnson finished Friday’s win over the Pacers with 14 points (6-of-11 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), one rebound, one assist, one steal, one block and one three-pointer.

Johnson shot the ball well on Friday, but the lack of playing time was a disappointment for fantasy managers. Due to the ankle injury suffered in late January, the rookie guard remains on a minutes restriction. While Johnson’s overall stat line was lean, there were signs that he could be a silly-season standout. However, that depends on how the Wizards handle the playing time, especially with fellow rookie Will Riley playing 12 minutes despite being healthy.
