Justin Champagnie was suspended one game for his role in a second-quarter altercation during Saturday’s game against the Thunder.

Champagnie got into it with Oklahoma City’s Jaylin Williams during the second quarter of Saturday’s game, sparking an altercation that led to those two being ejected, along with Oklahoma City’s Ajay Mitchell and Cason Wallace. Champagnie will serve his one-game suspension on Sunday, which could lead to Jamir Watkins moving into the starting lineup.

Sunday’s game will be the sixth that Black has missed due to a sprained left ankle. His absence alone does not affect fantasy basketball, but it has freed up additional minutes for Jamir Watkins and Jaden Hardy off the bench.

Sunday’s game will be the second that Johnson has missed in as many days. Hopefully, he plays longer than he did against the champs, as Champagnie was ejected during the second quarter for his role in an altercation that led to three Thunder players being tossed.

Sarr has not played both games of a back-to-back since late January, so his absence from Sunday’s game is unsurprising. Tristan Vukčević and Anthony Gill are absent from the injury report and should absorb the minutes that would have gone to Sarr.

After totaling six points on 2-of-21 shooting from the field in his prior two appearances, Sarr desperately needed a night like Saturday. While it ended in defeat, the second-year center/forward getting untracked was a great development for the Wizards and those rostering Sarr. He has not played both games of a back-to-back since late January, which does not bode well for Sarr’s chances of playing on Sunday against the Knicks.

Bub Carrington accumulated 19 points (7-of-12 FGs, 1-of-3 FTs), three rebounds, three assists and four three-pointers in Friday’s loss to the Thunder.

After beginning Week 21 with a four-point effort against the Warriors on Monday, Carrington has reached double figures in three straight. Saturday’s stat line wasn’t on par with his 30-point Tuesday against the Pistons, but Carrington shot the ball well against the Thunder. The second-year guard shot 4-of-7 from beyond the arc, moving to 11-of-21 over the last three games. The Wizards visit the Knicks on Sunday in their final game of Week 21.

Bilal Coulibaly amassed 21 points (8-of-15 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), four rebounds, four assists, one steal, two blocks and three three-pointers in Saturday’s loss to the Thunder.

Coulibaly has scored at least 21 points in three of his last four outings, and he’s reached double figures in five straight. Regarding all-around value, Saturday’s performance was one of his best this season. Fantasy managers will hope that Coulibaly is made available for Sunday’s game against the Knicks, the last of a five-game week for the Wizards.

Justin Champagnie was ejected from Saturday’s game against the Thunder during the second quarter.

Champagnie and Oklahoma City’s Jaylin Williams got into an altercation late in the second quarter, which would eventually involve players from both teams. In addition to those two, Oklahoma City’s Ajay Mitchell and Cason Wallace were ejected for escalating the altercation. With the action spilling into the stands, it’s possible that the NBA hands out a few suspensions in the coming days.

The Wizards will not have Tre Johnson for Saturday’s game, as he is out with a foot injury. Coulibaly replaces him in the lineup after a one-game absence, while Champagnie’s inclusion comes at Sharife Cooper’s expense.

While the 20-year-old small forward had just 15 points in Thursday’s loss to the Pistons, he still made four three-pointers. Riley had 21 points in both of his previous games before Thursday.
