While the opportunities to provide fantasy-relevant value have been inconsistent, Clayton has shown the ability to step up when his name is called. The rookie didn’t miss a shot on Saturday, with the 17 points being three shy of his season-high. Clayton isn’t at the point where he can be relied on in redraft leagues, but there could come a time later in the season when that changes.
Lauri Markkanen

Lauri Markkanen accounted for 29 points (11-of-16 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), five rebounds, one assist, three steals and five three-pointers in Saturday’s win over the Spurs.

Markkanen continues to light it up as a scorer, having tallied at least 26 points in each of his last five appearances. The Jazz forward shot the cover off the ball in San Antonio, and he’s made nearly 52 percent of his attempts over the past two weeks. During this stretch, Markkanen has provided top-5 per-game value in eight-cat formats. At this point, the only thing that could stop him is Utah’s front office prioritizing its draft lottery odds over team success.
Keyonte George

Keyonte George finished Saturday’s win over the Spurs with 28 points (7-of-18 FGs, 11-of-13 FTs), five rebounds, six assists, two steals, one block and three three-pointers.

One night removed from capping a 31-point game with a game-winning shot, George came through with another excellent performance. Over the past two weeks, he has provided top-10 per-game value in eight-cat formats according to Basketball Monster. Playing on a team that has a poor record can make it difficult to work one’s way into the postseason awards conversation. However, George’s name should come up when discussing the most improved players in the NBA this season. Utah begins a three-game Week 11 at home on Tuesday against the Celtics.

Keyonte George, Svi Mykhailiuk, Brice Sensabaugh, Lauri Markkanen and Jusuf Nurkić will start Saturday’s game against the Spurs.

The Jazz won’t have Ace Bailey for Saturday’s game, as he suffered a left hip flexor strain during Friday’s win over the Pistons. He’s been replaced in the lineup by Sensabaugh, who scored 20 points against Detroit. While he isn’t a must-stream player now, there may come a point later in the season when Sensabaugh needs to be rostered.

While Sensabaugh has logged consistent rotation minutes since mid-November, his role may expand in the aftermath of Friday’s victory. Ace Bailey exited during the second quarter with a left hip flexor strain, and that may rule him out for a bit. If so, Sensabaugh is well-positioned to provide additional value. The third-year wing matched his season-high with 20 points and finished a blocked shot shy of a complete stat line. If he starts on Saturday against the Spurs, Sensabaugh would be worth the streaming risk in deep leagues.
Jusuf Nurkić

Jusuf Nurkić accumulated 16 points (6-of-9 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), 11 rebounds, five assists, one steal, two blocks and one three-pointer in Friday’s win over the Pistons.

While Nurkić has recorded a double-double in each of his last two appearances, he had a day off on Tuesday because it was the second game of a back-to-back. With the Jazz visiting the Spurs on Saturday, there’s a good chance the veteran center won’t play. With Kevin Love (14/5/3/1/1 with three three-pointers) playing 16 minutes off the bench, Saturday’s game may be one in which Kyle Filipowski, Taylor Hendricks and even Kyle Anderson figure more prominently in the frontcourt rotation.

Markkanen has recorded 30 points or more in 11 of the 26 games he’s played this season, including Friday’s two-point victory. Production isn’t the concern right now, but availability is. Markkanen has missed four of Utah’s last eight games, including Tuesday’s loss to the Grizzlies, which was the team’s second game in as many nights. That’s important because the Jazz visit the Spurs on Saturday. Fantasy managers should consider him questionable, with Kyle Filipowski (two points, four rebounds and one steal in 11 minutes) in line to benefit if Markkanen sits.
Keyonte George

Keyonte George finished Friday’s win over the Pistons with 31 points (12-of-22 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), seven rebounds, eight assists, two steals, one block and five three-pointers.

George has been one of the most improved players in the NBA this season, with Friday’s performance rating among his best. Not only did he shoot over 50 percent from the field, but the third-year guard only committed two turnovers. And George’s last play was his most important, as his runner with 2.3 seconds remaining gave Utah the victory. He’s providing third-round value in eight- and nine-cat formats and has shown no signs of slowing down. The Jazz won’t have much time to celebrate their win, as they visit the Spurs on Saturday.
